Depending on stairs, service given, did they put the bed on the frame, or just toss it in the room, did they take your old ones away..if they did everything right I would drop a 20, if not and they were rude I would still throw them a 5..(maybe they would think if they had done a bit more like putting your bed together that the tip would have been better!)

I would tip 10-15% of the delivery cost. Tip the higher end if you have stairs or something else that made the delivery tougher.

Good question! My wife and I had to deal with this. We had a king size bed going up one set of stairs in our house. They were on time, fast, and friendly. I gave them ten bucks each. They smiled, tipped their hats, and thanked me. So that was probably about right - not overjoyed with the tip, but not the worst they'd received that day. I figure that was about equivalent to an hour of their salary. Those jobs don't pay well in this neck of the woods.

Just for delivery (they left it in your living room, or on your porch) Nothing. If they brought it upstairs/into the bedroom, carried the old one away or something, then give them 5 or 10 if you have it.

I'm not sure furniture delievery people expect tips and now I wonder because I have a new couch coming soon. My guess would be $5 each

My matress guys damaged woodwork, left the plastic everywhere and were rude to my friend who opened the door...they got $0.
