Some times you just gotta teach with actions rather than with words...

I have the same problem. I got some good advice from the ppl on YA here. I'm starting to play corny music while I'm gone (loud enough for them to kinda hear but not enough for the cops to be called). Make loud noise when they're trying to sleep...say at 11 at night. I know it isn't the nice thing to do but some people don't "get it" until it's their turn to suffer!

i had this problem before. i had a downstairs apartment, and my upstairs neighbors apartment had literally like 15 people in a tiny 2 bedroom. they were all hispanic, didn't speak any english, and they would blare their tejano music from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. we complained to the office, but they never did anything about it, so we decided to take manners into our own hands. we'd wait until their music finally died down, and we rigged every speaker we could find to point directly up at the ceiling, and we'd blast metal & techno music all night long. after that, they learned to keep it down.

set your alarm clock for 3:30 a.m. get up and start banging on the ceiling like a crazy woman with a broom. wake the kid up. keep him up for days. sleep deprivation does strange things to people (you should know).
because you haven't had much sleep lately , it's been hard to stay asleep when you get to sleep. you've been having strange dreams and your husband found you walking around in your sleep. you need sleeping pills. see what these people have done to your life?
paybacks. you know what they say about them.

Call the cops and file a noise complaint. The only risk is that they'll know its you but it might buy you some peace and quiet.
