(apart from videogame cheats). Is it because cheating is so widespread that people turn a blind eye to it? Do people in fact see it as ingenuity (which it isn't if you know how to cheat but choose not to)?

I mean, we listen to rants and raves about "tolerance", "diversity", "inclusion".....etc.,...etc. Why then all the hateful answers? Why not just answer the question as asked and leave the hate at home?

I am trying to quit smoking but I find that sometimes when I am on the phone, for instance, my fingers and hand must have a cigarrette. Also, I find that I crave that distinct smoke taste often, how do I subsitute those two. Any ideas.

Once in my world religions class in high school, some of our jewish students were passing around samples of kosher foods as a demonstration in the judaism unit of the class. A jar of something (I forget what it was) comes my way, and one of the students talking up front mentioned that he actually didn't care for the food at all. I pass the jar on to the kid next to me without even trying it, and he asks if I was going to try some before giving it to him. I reply "Hey, if the Jew doesn't like it, I don't want to touch it."

Some people laughed, some were shocked. *lol* Anyone here ever say anything like that that SOUNDS offensive, but really isn't? :D

Why people like to condemn other people as if they're perfect person?
Why people always see bad things from other people while they also got it?
Why people so mean and rude to others?

I keep wondering why....this happen in this world..haiz.

Hello everyone. I really need your help. I just got a new job, and there's a staff social tomorrow morning. I don't know anyone, and I'm already so nervous about it that I can't even sleep! Does anyone have any advice of how to get through this? I'm really not so great at the informal-mingling-with-strangers, thing.

Thanks in advance for any help, I really appreciate it.

..when you're going for a trip overseas?
Is it really necessary or just to show a gesture of goodwill?
Is it not nice if we don't?

Today I cut in front of these two women at a fast food place inside Walmart. They were standing away from the cash register looking at the menu and they kept on talking to one another about what they were going to get. I was thirsty and all I wanted was a soft drink cup (the soda fountain is self-serve) so I go ahead to the register and pay for the cup. Meanwhile these two women start making comments about me, about how rude I am. This angered me so I snapped back and said "you two are the rude ones taking your sweet time when all i want is a cup . . . do you think you are princesses or something you slow bitches." I regret saying the last part, but I couldn't help myself. Anyway, I thought all was over but then they follow me and throw their drinks onto my car yelling stuff. I just drove away. So much for a drink These were two native-american looking Mexicans. Were they extra pissed because a white guy cut in front of them. Who is right? Should I have just waited?

I lost touch with this friend for 10 yrs. After a week when I met her again, she wanted to borrow $150 from me. I was hesitant but I felt guilty when she said her husband & kid got nothing more to eat. I didn't ask when she'd pay me back but she's the one who promised she would do so after 3 days.
It's been a week now and I didn't hear from her anymore! I feel guilty to "haunt" & remind her coz I know she needs the $ but she must also consider & ask me if I needed the $ as well. I worked for my money! To me, if she didn't have intention of paying or she'd delay it, she should have at least contacted me and not promised anything at all. She could have asked for "donation" from me and not used the word "borrow".
If you were me, would you just forget about it & her... or will you demand for your $? I really dislike people who "forget" about their obligations.
