My sister had a party recently. One of her friends gave her a piece of blank construction paper with her signature on it.
Now this friend is having a party. My sister wants to go, but does she have to give her a gift? Or not?

Finished at work for the week and just went for a pee before going home. Obviously I didn't shake my old stick properly because I looked down and there is this large patch of wet right and I mean right in the centre of the crutch area and I am wearing light coloured trousers, so it's very obvious. If there had been several splashes dotted all around I could have got away with it as splahes from an over zealous tap or poorly designed basin but oh no, this is very obviously a leaky pipe, if you know what I mean. So the question is, should I go out and brave the creul world with its downward glances at my patch of wet, should I splash all over the front to make it look like it was the tap's fault or do I just wait until the patch is dry?

In this day and age, most people have caller ID (they know the name or number of incoming callers).

If someone calls, and doesn't leave a message, I feel no special need or desire to call that person back.

I know this is America, so we can call back whoever we want, but what do you think?

If it's an unfamiliar number, I assume it was a wrong #.
If it's a familiar number, I assume it wasn't important.

Maybe I'm just antisocial~

What do you do, and why?

I know one person read both questions, but does the fact that my roommate makes racist remarks influence your answer about how she's lying about her job? Be honest! Just curious to see.

The engineer in my office is such a prick! A few weeks ago, he made a very blatant pass at me, and I turned him down and spoke w/ my boss about it, who in turn disiplined him for his harassment. Nothing big really, just a slap on the wrist and a "keep your hands to yourself" So, I get to work this morning to be called into my boss's office where he proceeds to totally chew me out about my "unbusinesslike conduct" with another co-worker. (Yes, I am dating another co-worker, but it has NEVER come to work. We keep it totally under wraps, as in no one knows) Saying that what I had done was inappropriate, and he couldn't believe I would ever do such a thing, blah blah friggin blah" When I asked my boss what I had done that was so inappropriate, he told me that I should know, and in addition be ashamed of myself. The thing is though, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I think this guy made up a story about me and fed it to my boss. Do I say something to him, or just take the as s chewing and let it ride?

I discovered my roommate is a stripper by some Nancy Drew like work (wasn't hard) I tried to tell her I knew and I don't judge her for it, but I don't like being lied to. I am confused because is this my business or not?? I think it is since it's just plain safer if I know where she is and how to reach her, but I don't want to drag something she is obviously wanting to keep secret into the light.

I was talking to my friend and his fiance (who were about a month away from their wedding), and I mentioned that I was at a wedding recently where the couple rubbed a few people the wrong way.

Basically, they didn't go from table-to-table as a couple, thanking people for "Joining us today", "Sharing their special day", or just plain "Showing up". It was an average-sized wedding, by the way. . .maybe even on the small side.

My friend's fiance then told me that they're going to have no time to do that either, and not to expect it from them.

Do you think the couple (the one that didn't greet each table) showed poor form in any way, or are some people just way too sensitive?

She constantly degrades other culture's foods in particular and will make vomity noise when I'm trying to enjoy my chinese. She'll comment about music videos and why "black people always have to have sex in their videos" (I mention Will Smith's MIB video featured tons of sex and she didn't get it)

The other night, I went out to a dance club, one that does disco. I was dressed in a white leisure suit to fit the part. Anyways, I'm there amongst a crowd of people, doing my thing on the dance floor. Someone yells, "GET DOWN!". So, I lay down on the floor. Someone steps on me, I scream, and the next thing I know, the bouncers are escorting me outside. What did I do wrong?

My boyfriend grew up wealthy so he is very big on ettiquette. I believe there is a time and place for everything. At nice restaraunts there is no problem. When it comes to fast food, steak 'n shake, and pizza places we have our differences. This guy can't even eat at Taco Bell without putting his napkin neatly on his lap. He also usually makes passive aggressive comments about how im a slob or something. It gets to the point where he is being rude and offensive and I dont even feel comfortable eating with him. At the same time, I don't want people in Mcdonalds looking at me like im crazy because im acting like im in a 5 star restaraunt. He grew up with a very condescending father and I think part of the reason he does it is to feel authoritative. But should I just be myself and tell him he's being rude and ruining my dining experience or should I follow suit until I'm perfect enough for him. This is something that really shouldnt be a problem but I have to deal with it all the time.

The car park in town was very busy this morning. After the third time crawling round looking for a space, I saw a car about to vacate one. So, I put on my indicator and waited. No sooner had the car vacated the space, when a man in a white van came round the other way and drove into it! What would you have done? And have you ever done that to anyone? Grrr.

Two old ladies were outside their nursing home, having a smoke, when it started to rain. One of the ladies pulled out a condom, cut off the end and put it over her cigarette, and

continued smoking.

Lady 1: What's that?
Lady 2: A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet.
Lady 1: Where did you get it?
Lady 2: You can get them at any drugstore.

The next day, Lady 1 hobbles herself into the local drugstore and announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms.

The guy, obviously embarrassed, looks at her kind of strangely she is, after all, over 80 years of age, but very delicately asks what brand she prefers.

Lady 1: Doesn't matter son, as long as it fits a Camel.

The pharmacist fainted
