I love the B-52s. I saw them at the Fox Theater in Atlanta on Halloween, 1989. I want to come to your funeral and dance too! When are you going to die? If I buy the plane fare now, I could probably get a good deal.

Novel idea..... Still pretty self-serving. How about no funeral at all? Save yourself (and/or anyone else) the money. Have a fun wake (or call it what you wish), get everyone together and have the party you want and dance to the B-52's.....no limit to the fun!

No. It's your funeral.

A good friend of mine passed away from cancer about 5 years ago, and he insisted that he didn't want anybody to wear black to his funeral, but loads of wild colours instead, and he wanted everyone to have a real "knees up" wake afterwards and get absolutely hammered. And everyone (even his mum) honored his wishes. That was the way he lived his life, so it was completely fitting that we should honor him that way.

I would suggest though, do you want people to always remember you that way? If it is, then fair enough, but do give it careful consideration.

No I don't think so. Funerals on the whole tend to be by their very nature, sombre and miserable events. If you want to go out with a wild party and have everyone in fancy dress - why the heck not?! I think it is a great idea!

Not at all. It is YOUR funeral (lol).

My father laid out his wishes prior to his death, and they included a large party with tons of top-shelf liquor. Everyone said it was the best funeral they had ever been to and that it was the perfect memorial for him.

No,because a funeral is actually a celebration and remembrance of your life. If that's what you liked and enjoyed then it wouldn't be inconsiderate.

If they really love you they will respect your wishes...but if you really love someone you dont feel like dressing up in wigs and stuff .......i have mixed feelings about this...I know it's what you want i would ask my friends how they felt about this
I really hope you dont die anytime soon

The people that would be at your funeral would care about you and if that is what you wanted I am sure that they would comply.
