I was walking down the street and a girl passed by wearing a really short skirt and I looked at her and said "Wow nice legs" and she ran up to me and slapped me really hard. Was that fair?

Hmm...how many times have I heard that one? My grandparents on both sides of my family were Native American, and apparently their genes were super-strong. I inherited all the facial features, but they blend with my african-american features, so I'm this weird black-sorta asian looking hybrid^_^. I get stopped at least once a day by someone asking, "what are you?" They usually follow up with a 'compliment' like, "you're so pretty! but what are you?" I think I've been confused with EVERY dark-skinned ethnicity on the planet, but what I am. How am I supposed to answer this question without going into a long explanation of my entire genetic background?

I sent a certified letter this past Friday to someone living in my town and I have not received confirmation that they got the letter--it is now Tuesday. I heard that I am supposed to receive a post card in the mail telling me that they received the letter but so far nothing. I probably have this under the wrong category, just didn't know which one to pick.

Why is it when someone is beautiful and knows it, it comes across as coneited? I mean, just because everybody else is saying "oooh, I'm fat" or "ooooh, I'm ugly", doesn't mean I should have to say it just to make them feel better. I care about people, and I'm not conceited. I just don't know why people think this way. I don't want any "attention", I really want to know......because the way I look at it, everybody in the world is really good looking-just a bad gene here or there. Right?

I gt stopped by every f**king chugger in the street. Anyone got any useful tactics? Is it the "play with the iPod method"? Or the "I'm on a busy phone call scowl". I feel guilty telling 'em to eff off, they may be damn hippies but they're humans too
