My questions are how do i bring faith back into my life? If the lord loves his children why would he put them through so much stuff?? Before you go and answer that let me tell you why its not in my life and what i have tried....

I have tried going back to church and talking to people it just does not seem to work.. A little bit about my past I have been sexual abused by three different family members many times. from when i was 5 till i was 17 i'm now 22... I was physical and emotionally abused by an ex boyfriend. my parents got divorced which was not to bad but i was in the middle of it and it was really nasty... My mom is extremlly suicidal and keeps telling me she no longer want to be around..... I use to be a Sunday school teacher and have been in a church for most of my childhood... I just would like to have the lord back in my life but its hard and im not sure how to get through it or who to talk to...

Couldn't a life force be a considered God? A human could present itself as God. An animal could be placed above all else, and could be named God. Anything could be "God" if you really think about it.

I am going thru the list and half these questions by christians are bashing atheists..shame on you. God expects us to act better, you are not better than they are because you believe in God. I am a follow of Jesus and as of now I am ashamed to use the word christian , you devalue it and make it hateful...how many feel the same??

If this is true then why do the paths contradict each other?

Buddhism says there is no personal God and everyone can reach god-likeness on their own. Islam says Jesus was just a prophet and not the only way to God. Christianity says there is a personal God and the only way to Him is through Jesus Christ.

Does it seem to you that these paths are all headed in the same direction? Does truth contradict itself?

My boyfriend and I have such different food tastes. I go for the absolute healthiest choice (chicken and veggies for dinner) while he goes for the absolute worst (think double cheeseburger with extra bacon or pizza or pasta or fried rice). I almost never eat carbs except in the form of veggies and fruit (and no family dinners such as alfredo or lasagna...makes me scared even thinking about it...and i dont like it!) Its so weird going out to dinner. He thinks all I eat is meat...hes weirded out...how do I solve our differences?

They are recruiting members here in Isabela for the foundation that's supposed to put up livelihood projects at a fund of 20 million per barangay. I havent seen her in 3 years, shes a distant relative. I dont want to upset her but she keeps emailing me alot. What upsets me is that i wrote some emails to her sharing my life with photos and recieved no response.
Shes old, in her 60s , never married, no kids, i feel she was jealous, shes also made remarks in her emails to me putting me down and i had to defend myself..

I tried not responding to her, we had no contact for like a year, then she invited me and my mom for thanksgiving, i had to email her back saying "sorry i have alot of work to do but thanks"... Then she emails me saying "i hope you make it next time with your family at my house and i have alot of projects to do myself"
I felt it was a dig, then i get an email from her saying "Today is my birthday, happy birthday to me,, she sent it out to many people,, so i just said happy bday.
Now she emails saying "I hope i see you all before xmas, my friend is selling nice stuff on ebay"... I responded "yes i hope to see you too

This is the first year I will be alone at Christmas. My son will be spending Xmas Eve and Xmas day with his dad, and his dads family. Mostly because of financial situations, and I want this Christmas to be as normal as possible for my son. My new boyfriend has prior obligations with his family, and because of my work schedule I am unable to travel with him. Does anyone have any creative ideas on what to do, to keep yourself occupied? All I can think about are the normal traditions that l did leading up to Christmas and on Christmas day and am getting increasingly more depressed and bitter. I hate feeling this way and want to show excitement with my son for the holidays, but I just cannot find that spirit.
