Use YOUR brain to answer this question. Not a book, not another person's opinion... just your own mind. What do really think "God" is?

Couldn't a life force be a considered God? A human could present itself as God. An animal could be placed above all else, and could be named God. Anything could be "God" if you really think about it.

No...I don't belive that. God is the creater of Heaven and Earth. He is all powerful, forgiving, and loving. God is the only perfect being ever to exist. He is the Alpha and the Omega. I have complete fait in God's existance, and I would never belive otherwise. I do not understand what you are asking, really I don't because it makes no sense that anything could be all of that. I could say I am "god" but I am not anyone can say that, but that is a lie. A lie is not to be confused with the truth. God is the truth, the way, and the light.
And that is my opinion, from my brain. =) Sorry if it wasn't what you were wishing to hear, but it's my opinion.

I won't use a book, another persons theories, or anything else...But my heart to answer this question.
A loving force that speaks through our hearts, an intuition, a feeling, whatever you want to call it. A benevolence which comforts us when we are alone, and keeps us feeling loved in a world that knows everything but that. A kind soul who shows us the light in the middle of the dark.
This force is in each of us, yes. As we were created by this force, this entity. Therefore this entity lies in each of us...all we have to do is be loving enough, accepting enough, receptive enough, to recognise it. Then we must be willing to be a light, willing to light our own paths, and when we do this it is difficult for those who are in the dark to not see a glimpse of that light, and wonder where it came from. Each living thing was created by this entity, we all have this light and love within our being, yet you must be willing to see that it is that simply given.
Not complex at all, not religion, not separatism, not political, not sexist...But all encompassing light and love, that is God/dess. Once you see that the feeling is the Spirituality you seek, the peace washes over you in such a great comforting wave. As the ocean washes upon the beaches, the Lord washes upon our souls, refreshing us and removing the impurities when receding...
It may sound too dreamy, or unrealistic...But that is my world, that is how I live. There is nothing complex about it, and yet it is too complex for those who do not want to see, to feel the rapture of the movement within. I feel it, I see it, I know it.
My thoughts, feelings on the one who saved me from something far worse than death, a life of spiritual emptiness.

Love and light!

God is the life force of everything in us and outside of us ; an animal didn't create; man doesn't create, God creates, he provided everything that we need to live, from the protection of the atmosphere , like no other planet , gravity ; everything is perfect; we can't even figure out the bodies that house us or recreate anything that ; there is always a glitch in the simple things that we can do ; God's hand is the ultimate power , you don't have to work at having your heart beat or your lungs breathe or your blood filtered etc etc ; you don't even know how to control you ; God is in everything but everything isn't God. It is a by product of the result of the power of God; we nor any other living thing can do what God has done and does. The universe works without our input ; Earth works without our input ; all animals , plants and mankind depend on God for our existence ; with one breathe he could end it all and will someday , at least as we know it.

When I speak of God, as a Hindu, it has many meanings. Ultimate Reality, Cosmic Consciousness, Ground of All Being, and Supreme Soul are all words that often get translated from the Hindu term Brahman. God is both the unmanifested Cosmic Consciousness and the manifested Supreme Soul, the Ground of All Being (so called because the entire universe manifests from God). God is the Ultimate Reality......when we come to awaken from our ignorance we will come to realize that everything is interconnected and interdependent and that it is all sharing the consciousness of God....that the reality is everything is God. That even we, our soul, is our divine spark from God. The goal of moksha is to be united in union with God....the very consciousness from which everything emerged from. We return back to our source just as the water that forms a river returns back to the ocean.

When I say God, its actually a figure of speech. Like, Oh My God. God is just someone's imaginary friend, an escape route, to atone for all the bad things they've done. Note, my definition of bad things are actions or thoughts that hurt others & yourself. God is that imaginary character to mass amount of people not inclusive of myself whom people believe in because ineveitably, they did something bad. To err is human. So they worry about afterlife, so they think up of the escape route of God, eternal Heaven for a short life on Earth.

I think every single atom in the universe is a part of God. He expresses himself in many different ways, what we can see and not see - light, thoughts, actions, love - everything. When you say an animal could be placed above all else, and be named God, I would obviously disagree based on what I think He is and rephrase to say that the animal is also a part of God and his creation. You and I are beings He wanted to create as part of his expression to Be, along with everything else in the universe. hope that makes sense to you! THink of it as the universe being for example your body. Each cell can be a planet, a person, the wind, different things, but all part of one large thing that is hard for us tiny humans to comprehend.

Human mind has achieved and has done many things already. It invented cellphone, satelites, computers, internet, etc. But still human minds are limited. We don't know many things. We must consult the One who knows more than what we know.

If we're to search for truth, we will find truth in the bible. In Isaiah 55:8-9 it says

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts."

If we are wise, we know that we don't understand many things. So we have to accept in our heart that there's someone very wise who made everything that we see: the stars, sky, earth, trees, mountains, etc.

Acts 14:15

"and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them"

A figment of quite a lot of peoples imaginations. It is baffling to me how many are deluded in believing that God exists when in fact he is probably just as real and functioning as The Loch Ness Monster

when I say God I am saying the creator of the universe and of time and of everything.....and the one who revealed himself throughout human history and ultimately through Jesus Christ offered a way for us not to be a slave to sin and a way to have a personal relationship with the creator of the universe. When I say God I am referring to my savior. One cannot serve two masters so I cannot consider anything else to be God other than God. When God created us he made us creators....that is the soul we have....but we are not God.......I cannot will a planet into existence through a single word nor can I create the air I breathe.........
