My boyfriend and I have such different food tastes. I go for the absolute healthiest choice (chicken and veggies for dinner) while he goes for the absolute worst (think double cheeseburger with extra bacon or pizza or pasta or fried rice). I almost never eat carbs except in the form of veggies and fruit (and no family dinners such as alfredo or lasagna...makes me scared even thinking about it...and i dont like it!) Its so weird going out to dinner. He thinks all I eat is meat...hes weirded out...how do I solve our differences?

We have a great relationship, but I worry too much about this. It makes me wonder if we are just really wrong for each other

I think we don't agree on anything..besides that we like/love each other...i love city he likes rural...i watch how i spend money..he spends it left and right..i think u should take a high pay job even tho there are some saccrifices, he thinks one shouldn't...even though he listens to me and does what i think is right...but points out how he disagrees and thinks the other thing is better

Don't solve them, just accept them. You can't really change him unless he wants to change. Just lead by example and quietly encourage him to make better choices so he can be healthy like you.

I don't think that your food choices are going to make as big of a difference as your views on other things. Do you agree on how to spend money, how enviormentally conscious you are, whether you want to live in the city or not, is money or freedom more important. These are the types of views that shape how you want to live your life with your partner and if you do not share the same values life will become one long compromise.

I don't think he differences in your eating habits will be too much of a problem; you'll probably outlive him though with his poor diet. And if he dies and leaves you alone in your older age, that brings me to my next point:

A greater concern would be one of the other issues you mention: the difference in the way you view money and spending habits. Now there is a topic many couples break up over; in fact, it's one of the most-cited reasons married couples divorce. I urge you to get premarital counseling ... if marriage is where you're headed.

Your senses of style and scent are all out of whack precise now. I went interior the direction of an identical factor and that i'm basically in simple terms now beginning as much as have the skill to delight in meals back. (i'm 14 weeks.) a number of my in demand meals in simple terms did not style precise. And my sense of scent became off the chart! undesirable smells have been torture and good scents have been too overpowering. Your style is strongly ruled via scent. And whilst your nostril says "Yuck!" so do your style buds. that is completely known and could be sure quickly. Bon appetit! =)

just accept that you have different eating preferences. my boyfriend and i are in the same boat. he calls me the 'tree hugging hippy' for all the healthy food i eat and i call him a 'meatitarian' because that's about all he eats. we're both healthy and happy, and that's what matters.

cooking meals at home can be a challenge, but we work well together in a restaurant...he always asks for his veggies on the side to give to me. isn't that sweet?

Thats is a tough thing, if you ever live together are there any meals you could share. Or would you be preparing a different meal for each of you.

When going out, each orders his/her own food. If living together, each cooks his/her own meal.
