Don't knock it 'til you try it.
My (now wife) and I went to a half clothed/half nude resort in Jamaica last year and figured we'd stick to the clothed side. Well, we tried the nude side and never went back.
For swimming it is nice because you don't have clammy clothes to wear.
For sunning it reminds you to wear lots of sunscreen, and no tan lines is nice.
The people we've met have been friendly. The management is generally quick to shoo out troublemakers, and everybody has a good time.
As far as how people look, we've been in a society where even supermodels have to be airbrushed/photoshopped to 'look pretty', and so normal and good looking people look bad in comparison. There are good looking people, and not so good looking people. The nice thing -- nobody cares. There isn't the highschool clique cr*p at them like at a lot of clothed beaches.

an excuse for people to flaunt what god gave them and be proud to show it off to the world..i have stumbled on a few in my time and by golly there aren't many handsome nor beautiful women as much as fat balding stretch marked flabby hairy people walking around them..when asked as to why they do it..they spout words of i was born this way its natural to walk this way and it feels free no constrictions freedomg a closeness to nature and air and water and the sand up my buttcrack..this is all BS..for generations it took us this far to evolve into intelligent well SEMI intelligent people who realized that extra clothing helps to keep our sensitive butt skin from chaffing on rough rocks let alone have an ant crawl up our female cracks while we talk to others..and just because you were born that way doesn't mean you have to revert to being butt @$$ naked wailing at the moon..but once again thats my opinion and mine alone

I think they are stupid. be naked in your own home and with friends if you want to but a camp:? Just to all walk around naked? Gross. Unsanitary. and again, I say gross.
