They are recruiting members here in Isabela for the foundation that's supposed to put up livelihood projects at a fund of 20 million per barangay. Membership fees of Php 150 per applicant is being collected. Any information will help me clarify this with my fellow Isabelans who are encouraged to joining said foundation.

Do not feel pressured to donate to this or any foundation until you know, for sure, that it is legal and credible. First, make sure this organization is registered with your government. There will be an office that registeres all nonprofits/NGOs (don't take the organiation's word for it that they are registered). Next, ask the organization for a list of livelihood projects the organization has helped with, particularly ones that you can visit yourself and see first hand what is being done. Also, contact some media people to see if they have done any stories about FIRM and if it truly does what it says it does.
