Because it is not an official holiday, is your company giving you a 'free' holiday? Were waiting to hear back from head office about ours.

I keep noticing that certain people who are trying to defend their belief system always resort to talking in parables, or fables or morality tales which they obviously learnt in sunday school, Venomfangx on youtube is a constant offender,

I found this on another answer thread:

"I remember watching the landing on the moon when I was a child. Scientists were so sure the moon had been around for billions of years that they were concerned about the amount of dust that had accumulated, fearful that the lander would sink into a thick layer of the stuff and be in a heap of trouble. the landings revealed that the surface was so solid and so shallow in dust that even the engines had produced hardly any crater at all. This was in direct opposition to the predictions that had been made, and when viewed with unbiased eyes reveals the theory of evolution to be an impossibility. According to the calculations the lander should have experienced a minimum of fifty feet of fine powder."

WHY!!

Just one more question before I go to bed!

What is your personal style? Outdoorsy, sporty, classic, sophisticated, eclectic, preppy, practical, classy, plain jane, arty, vintage, grunge, western, other?
I tend to be eclectic with my clothes, long skirts are my favorite things to dress up in, sometimes "gypsy" style, but I wear jeans and sweatshirts a lot too. And I wear a lot of classic clothes too (at least I did when I went to work every day) and some times lots of leather and cashmere and beads and velvets. I love velvet, esp black. With lots of lace. Vintage sweaters, and skirts. Leather jackets with fringe. High heels and boots, of all kinds, still wear tennis shoes and sandals a lot. But when I am working in my garden or studio I tend to go for grunge and sometimes I think I look like a bag lady, lol! Grubby, too! My jewelry tends to be arty and one of a kind. No tattoos, tho!

That cares more about me worshipping him than me doing good things.
I can live a very moral and productive life helping out my fellow man but according to alot of your beliefs, (christians, muslims, etc) I will still go to hell because I did not believe in your god.
Do you see the absurdity of this logic with your god?

I know that we can not be racist but how come we always have to put out our customs behind others.

People of other cultures come to Australia, they choose to. If they are not Christian, we can not stop our Christmas celebrations, or make it ‘low key’ just because they are here.

Why do we have to do this?

Yes, as Christians we respect others, but when do we get to actually celebrate being Christian? If it is always seen as being racist then aren’t they accusing us of the same thing they are doing to us-not letting us celebrate our religion?

There just seems to be a couple now that I have met. They think that George Bush sits in the Oval office and independently decides to destroy the USA and the rest of the world. If you are not a Bush - hater, then do you know a Christian who is one?

Definition of a Bush - hater:
Someone who is ready to accept any bad news about George Bush; current or former president of the USA, whether it seems reasonable or not. They have a terrible time reasoning things out about the news they get about George Bush, and will believe anything which is said about him which is negative, and gets angry if anyone wonders about what they believe about him.

So in the bible it God says that gayness is a sin.........So is being gay a sin or is only engaging in a homosexual act a sin? What exactly does it say in the bible about this? Does Judaism say gayness is a sin as well? What about Islam? Would God believe gayness you are born with or is it a choice? Also, someone told me that maybe people later put inthe part about gay people and God didnt say it could that be true? How do we even know that the bible is the exact word of God?????? It is 2000 years old couldn't it get messed up or lost in translation by then?

Please tell me if it is possible to warp to a specific place like maybe your mothers house, and whether or not you have the power in that form to talk to a person in this world or have the power to move things without being seen. I once saw a film based on a true story about this woman who would leave her body every night and find herself in this beuatiful house. One day her and her husband were out searching for a new homw when she spotted the house. She knocked on the door and an old lady answered and said she was the ghost that had been haunting her home and sold the house to her at a greatly redused price.

...so it can be a very difficult time of year...?
The pressure is on and stress on finances, time, relationships and THE family, often leave us with Spiritual decisions to either partake in or not.

Reflecting on your ghosts of Christmas' past, and considering those you will be gathering with and their beliefs - or lack there of,
What are you going to do differently this year so as not to offend (where possible) and make it a wonderful and Special Day for all you Love, yet may not agree spiritually on?

Or have learned from another Christmas is best to let it go - or not what to do?

I wish you All a Peaceful, Merry, Blessed and Safe Christmas*

If Christmas didn't involve lots of presents and booze would you still be looking forward to it each year?? Just wondering because it seems as though very few people celebrate Christmas for it's religious reason.

Ignoring punctuation, spacing, and capitalization, a monkey typing letters uniformly at random has one chance in 26 of correctly typing the first letter of Hamlet.

It has one chance in 676 (26 times 26) of typing the first two letters.

Because the probability shrinks exponentially, at 20 letters it already has only one chance in 2620 = 19,928,148,895,209,409,152,340,197,376, roughly equivalent to the probability of buying 4 lottery tickets consecutively and winning the jackpot each time. I

n the case of the entire text of Hamlet, the probabilities are so vanishingly small they can barely be conceived in human terms. Say the text of Hamlet contains 130,000 letters (it is actually more, even stripped of punctuation), then there is a probability of one in 3.4×10183946 to get the text right at the first trial.

As Kittel and Kroemer put it, "The probability of Hamlet is therefore zero in any operational sense

Hi. I have realized I have sinned in my life, and I want to devote my life to the Lord and Christ. I think Jesus has finally shown himself to me, and I know know that religion is the right way to go. However, I have no family history of religion, so I don't know which religion would be the true path to the Lord? Thanks, and God Bless.
