I am very good in writing English, I have written many speeches etc. but my speaking is not as good as my writing is. What should i do?

hang out, be very social, this will pick up easier rather than concentrating on studying a specific language via internet or books or even audio tools....
don't be afraid to talk even if you feel you don't sound "American", someone nice will correct you and that's the best way to learn, fun also ;-)
i took a French class and only know the basics. i couldn't put a sentence together to save my life and i envy those who can fluently speak another language besides English!
Personally, I think accents are cool! So, don't get too caught up in speaking just like us! Keep it authentic;-)

Hey, I don't know what nationality you are, but if you are hanging out with your own race, I would really limit yourself speaking in your language. Best way to learn to speak English is simply abroad over there, and live. Communicate with American or English spoken people as many as you can. You have to sacrifice some to get some, if you know what I mean.

A very good way is to watch DVDs in their original language ( which is probably mostly English). American TV isn't really available in the rest of the world (with some exceptions as CNN and NBC).

be very enthusiastic to learn english..
read an article in the news paper daily...i wud suggest hindu editorial.stand before the mirror and try to speak about what you learnt in the editorial.speak a lot with ur friends and home if possible.watch atleast an english movie once a week and try to remember those dialogues.

Your best bet is to watch TV. Be around Americans as much as possible. How wonderful that you want to be fluent. Good luck.

read more books and try to speak even though it's broken.. it help.. I would not say that my English is good because it could be embarrassing when you speak wrongly.. hehehe.. hope you practice more.. =)

There are classes offered all over the united states at community colleges that will greatly help you improve your english..in some cases they are free.

Speak slowly and try to sound out your words. Also listen to American talk radio.

Speak english as much as u possibly can. (and ignore that one about watching American films and watch Britflicks!)
