Religious "people", institutions, etc. You get my point.

I understand the importance of historical precedence, but I don't understand how one makes this particular leap of logic?

You know I have this research paper. I chose autopsy as my topic. I would like to ask if how do churches view this process. Is it something immoral? I needed the answers badly. Thanks. Any religion will do better if I will have the reactions from different religions.

Ok, my best friend died a few weeks ago, she was only 19, according to the autopsy she died from respiratory failure, on tuesday her family invited me to a viewing of her body, I have no other friends so I went in alone, and I started talking to her and saying my goodbyes and I seen the candle next her coffin flicker and I felt like someone put their hands on my shoulders to comfort me but there was no one there and then it was weird while I was talking I swear I seen her head nod like she was agreeing with me, I was telling her how devistated her family was without her, anywho since then I've been seeing images of a place I've never been before and I believe it's where she died I think she's trying to tell me how she died, because she died under suspicious circumstances the coroner and police are involved.
I can't explain how I know but somehow I know she was poisoned.

I want to tell the family but I can't, they don't believe in this sort of thing

I never hear Silent Night or Hark the Herald Angels sing on the radio. Just Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer and Rockin around the Christmas tree.

I have, this might sound crazy but I saw him when I was about 8 years old. It happened when I was in my bed at 12:00pm. In one of the corners in my room, it was very dark. As time went by a shadow formed out of the darkness. The shadow looked like someone wearing a hood with a scythe. However, when I looked up I didn't see a solid figure. When it was getting closer and closer I was going to yell but I was too scared, then thankfully my dad came in my room and said...
"Jess do you know where Tessa went?" ... I was saved!
The shadow or Grim Reaper vanished!
I hope this never happens to me agian!

I've asked something vaguely like this before, but want to try a slightly different angle on it and see what the people here, now, think.

please name a crime that truly deserves infinite punishment.

I've talked to and read alot lately of people finding the idea of by our nature, deserving of an infinite punishment, and calling that justice! I just cannot wrap my head around this concept. how can someone think that they, as God created them, are deserving of such?

I don't claim to be perfect, but I am certainly not so bad that I deserve infinite punishment... in fact i'd go so far as to say that *nobody* really deserves infinite punishment. some deserve a whole heck of alot... but eternity is a long time. and what is the point of punishment if theres no chance to learn or repent or even try to make up for that wrongdoing?

what line of thinking is it that leads one to accept such a concept readily, as deserving eternal punishment, at all, let alone by nature.

Think online translators are the end all be all of language. They will less than 0.5% of the time be correct. The longer and more complicated your sentence is, or even more complicated languages, the worse the will be! They hardly ever get individual words right! So I guess I have to ask a question:

How many people feel the same way, and how many people choose to defend their precious online translators. Support your answer.
