I have, this might sound crazy but I saw him when I was about 8 years old. It happened when I was in my bed at 12:00pm. In one of the corners in my room, it was very dark. As time went by a shadow formed out of the darkness. The shadow looked like someone wearing a hood with a scythe. However, when I looked up I didn't see a solid figure. When it was getting closer and closer I was going to yell but I was too scared, then thankfully my dad came in my room and said...
"Jess do you know where Tessa went?" ... I was saved!
The shadow or Grim Reaper vanished!
I hope this never happens to me agian!

No I haven't personally, thank goodness.
I think that you had a vivid imagination when you were younger and couple that with a bad dream and I think that you imagined the Grim Reaper, as there really is no such thing.

I have! And it only happened last year. I awoke at around maybe 2-3am and it was still fairly dark but I had a little bit of light from outside come into the room, at the side but the bottom of my bed, I saw a hooded figure. It looked like it was looking down but at the wall next to my bed. I also saw what looked like a scythe, I wasn't terribly scared ( I didn't know he was a bad omen) but my heart started beating faster and then I just kinda fell back asleep.

I just hope I don't see him ever again.

I don't think you see the actual Grim Reaper until it's your time to go. There is a common phenomenon of dark shadowy figures standing over the bed. They like to mess with you because they feed off emotions like depression and fear. The main thing is: don't be scared. It wasn't coming to ask you to play chess.

If you want to get to know him better, and see his humorous side, try the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.

P.S. He probably just wanted to go out for a curry...
