No. Most of us celebrate the holidays with our families. We are not really the monsters that we are made out to be in religious rhetoric. We love our children and our parents just as much as Christians love theirs. We may not see the holidays in the same way that you do but that is hardly significant. There are plenty of people that claim to be devout believers who do not seem to remember or recognize any spiritual meaning in the holidays either. As for being "scrooges", If anything the atheists I know are more concerned with charity and helping people precisely because we -don't- believe that there is a God who will take care of everyone and fix everything for us if we don't.

No. We celebrate holidays just like everyone else. I celebrate "Christmas" but I don't call it Christmas really. I call it "Commercial-exchange-of-gifts Day" because that is really what it is now. It's a corporate holiday. By holidays what do you mean? The United States observes over 140 holidays throughout the year. Do you celebrate National Hot-Dog Day?

no, my family is full of religions. my dad is atheist yet at Christmas he gives out the most presents and is always trying to help people. we live near ducks and when ever he drives up the street he always looks out for them and is the nicest person i know. (even though my mum is trying to convert to Catholicism and my Little sis lives upon Buddhist values)

You're just being ridiculous now. I celebrate Christmas. I do not, however, recognize it as a celebration of the birth of Christ.
