Think women were only to be wives and prostitutes

Religion teaches us (well its f*cking supposed to anyways) to do good things.

Yet we have evidence of "high-ranking" religious/spiritual "leaders" somehow teaching people the wrong things. And actually putting action into it.

Isn't more "religious" or "godly".. to understand? to love? to get along with one another?

Priests say that homosexuals are evil and will go to hell.

I have some homosexual friends. I talked to them. They DON"T WANT to be gay. They're confused. They ask. I was born onto this earth. I discover I am attracted to men. Thus I will end up going to hell. In other words, born onto the earth, automatically go to hell. My gay friends, said if they had a choice they wouldn't want to be gay.

Imagine the pressure? Social Pressure? What would my parents and friends think? How do you think these people feel? And most of all, will I go to hell?

On top of that. Priests easily point their fingers at them. You're evil, you're going to hell. Who's more evil here?

...do at Christmas? Meaning where do you spend Christmas? My mum has a small flat, so do all us siblings., Every Christmas 16 odd people pile into my sister's 2 bed flat for Christmas. ANd that number is growing as we are all having children lol

i am just curious - does everybody struggle the same way as we do the accommodate the ever-increasing family at Christmas?

Surely to accept God as your creator and Judge and then to say that Jesus wasn't God's son is quite blasphemous.

He was the Son of God and the Son of Man all at once, God incarnate, yet people deny that Jesus was God's son or God made man.

Don't mean to cause arguments or cause anyone any offence, would just like anyone else's take on this.

You are entitled to your own views on religion and otherwise just keep it clean!

Ok, theres my husband, my mum, my 5 siblings, 6 nieces, 1 nephew, my own 2 children, 5 friends and 3 of their children.

Thats about 24 people to buy for. Many of my friends are loaded (ones a journalist, ones an investment banker) so i feel really cr*p buying them cheap presents).

I only have about £150 - 200 this year. Any ideas? SHould i just buy pressies for the kids??

I've read the Bible and to be honest it is rubbish. But to the point. It seems evident to me that Jesus spent a lot of time with thieves, vagabonds, whores, sinners, the poor, the non-believers etc.

Now let's pretend the Jesus myth is not actually a myth and is true and he is going to come again

Does it piss Christians off that he will probably want to hang out with us sinners and non-believers rather than hang out with them?
