Mormons were not around in Martin Luther's day. I don't know that Martin Luther had more than one wife, but here's a quote from Wiki: "Luther ruled that polygamy was acceptable, noting that the patriarchs of the Old Testament had had more than one wife."

Since divorce was uncommon in Luther's time, we may suppose that the first two (if there were in fact such) predeceased him. The notion that this has something to do with Mormonism is silly; that would not be invented for another 300 years.

Actually he doesn't believe in divorce.
He didn't want King Henry VIII to divorce his first wife and he wanted him to marry another without getting a divorce.
