No, but he should not use the same hand all the time. When he does, that one might become more muscular than the other.

Of course there could be a problem, when he does it and neglects other duties and joys.
Like being a workaholic, being a wankaholic could lead to an unhappy life.
Doing something a lot might just be a phase.
Talk to that person and ask whether this is what he wants.
If it's not completely fulfilling, brainstorm with him about alternatives.
(If you are that person yourself. Check with yourself whether you can continue to enjoy or would rather do other things.)
