Some one may consider John 17:21 as evidence that Jesus and God are the same, but if that is what the verse means, then it will also mean that Disciples (Man), Jesus and God are also the same because it also says “...that they also may be one in us,…” And I believe the disciples are not gods.
If you do believe that he was sent by some one, then who is that ‘some one’?
Do you think that ‘some one’ should be superior to Jesus?
How can you differentiate that ‘some one’ from Jesus Christ?

What should i wear to an informal christmas party tonight?

My boyfriend's workplace (an auto dealership) is having a christmas party tonight at a casual restraunt. I'm not sure what to wear. I was thinking about some nice jeans, a cute off white top with blue heart prints on it and flats. Would this be too casual looking? any other ideas? it will be chilly out tonight (winter in kentucky) Thanks for the help!

JW'S. i am having trouble explaining this to someone.... can you help?

i am trying to show a non believer that i can not really associate with them out of work.... this has always been a tough one for me because i dont know what to tell them... i was going to show him some scriptures.. but they seem to make it sound like i think he is 'EVIL' or like a bad person.. and i dont think that at all.. i just am trying to do the right thing and be a good christian girl.. which is actually what he likes about me.. that i am a good girl! haha do you have any suggestions?

Does the Trinity conflict with the Law of Identity?

The Law of Identity states that A=A because A has all of the neccessary properties and qualities of A.

A dog can't have the properties of a computer and still be a dog.

The Trinity, seems to suggest, that while Jesus IS God, he doesn't have all the neccessary attributes of God (such as omniscience).

Does this make the Trinity, by definition, illogical?

What to do, my entire family is Chirstian, and I am not.?

My entire family and I have different beliefs, and I can't tell them, becuase then they will be mean to my mom, I am Wiccan, and I want to let them know that when they say all this stuff about they are right when it comes to religious beliefs, when they don't neccesarily know that, I also dont know if my religon is the right religion, but I want them all to know that I am here, and the things they say, kind of upset me.

Why do people argue over which prophet was right, when in essence, they all said the same thing?

Ok - so maybe Jesus, Mohammad, Abraham and others all had specific details about what they taught that were unique. But don't people unerstand that when they said stuff like "I am the way", or "follow me", they were speaking AS GOD, and not as themselves? Didn't they all say to worship and follow God, and not them?

Pay Phones - A Disappearing American Icon?

AT&T announced they will be removing all pay phones soon.

Even though I have not used one in about 5 years, I am a little sad to see them go.

Picture it: You have your 5 year old grandchild with you and you see a pay phone and she's like "Grandma what is that thing?"

How do get someone to be self supportive/ grow up, if it seems that they don’t want to?

They aren’t motivated enough to get a degree/ go to school.
They sleep on the couches at friends’ homes until they are no longer friends anymore, he wears out the welcome in other words.
He only calls home for money.
He has no job hence no way to pay their bills. He lost his car to repossession.
He doesn’t look for a job but spends the day surfing the internet or playing Xbox.
He thinks working at McDonald’s is below him.
At the homes he stays at, he doesn’t help with chores.
He doesn’t cook but complains when there is nothing to eat.
He expects others to buy his cigarettes.
He got kicked out of the military.
He will spend weeks wearing the same clothes.
