My boyfriend's workplace (an auto dealership) is having a christmas party tonight at a casual restraunt. I'm not sure what to wear. I was thinking about some nice jeans, a cute off white top with blue heart prints on it and flats. Would this be too casual looking? any other ideas? it will be chilly out tonight (winter in kentucky) Thanks for the help!

I would wear the jeans and a more wintery shirt--like black velvet maybe or something red..no flats-got any heeled boots? The jeans are what dresses this down enough..

Jeans are ok as long as they are clean, neat and without holes. This is the Christmas season, not valentine's day, so I don't think the hearts would be good. Why not a red, or green turtleneck(since it cold) and the colors would be good for the holiday. Also, boots would be good with the jeans and the temperature.

Do you have some black pants/slacks? I suggest wearing those and then your top and perhaps a sweater or jacket of some sort. Do you have any holiday sweaters or colors? Red or green sweater?
What kind of restaurant? If it's like Applebees then what you proposed will probably be o.k. It's snowing here in NE Ohio, so I would bundle up more if I were you.
