There are many General Synods.
Which one(s) are you talking about?

synod
noun [C] SPECIALIZED
a regular meeting of church members for the discussion of religious matters

Sorry but your question does not make sense. I would imagine most church members would be 'against' abortion but 'forgiving' of it - but it would depend on the individuals

Well i think abortion is bad but sometimes necessary. And i don't mean just in rape cases but in making the big huge mistake of getting pregnant and not being no where ready for that child. I believe that if you can not give the very best BEST to that child than maybe you should send it back to heaven. I don't care if i burn in hell for it but at least i know my unborn child never suffered because of my stupidity. Why would you want your child to bear a cross along with you for your stupidity, she/he deserves better. but i also believe that if you do have an abortion that you should not make that mistake again.
