... leave trash around the parks, throw cigarette butts on the ground/floor ...?

Are there things of this kind that really bother you?

Do you think that "there should be a law against it!", as a friend of mine often says?

There is a law against it, it's called "Littering".. and is punishable by fine.

I am very annoyed by the folks who fling their trash onto the sides of the roads... and elsewhere.

And the best part is when there is a place right there for cigarette butts but the person still flicks in on to the ground!

Being a non-smoker I really hate people who don't dispose of their cigarette butts responsibly. I find these people are often the ones who litter with other things as well.

I am a big fan of respect, of respecting yourself, other people and the world around you, and these people fail on all three counts...

there definately should be and there is actually in most countries. it's another thing if the law is actually applied.

i think there should be pretty big fines for things like that.

but what really pisses me off is those plastic bags that you get in all the stores and you get them by the hundreds every year and they never decompose... at least not for thousands of years and most of them never even make it to the landfill anyway. people just throw them wherever and the wind blows them up and down the streets till they get stuck in a corner or something...

All of that bugs me....especially the cigarette butts...and I'm a smoker. I really hate when people toss lit cigarettes out of car windows.

No. It dosen't really bother me but then again it does. Like i like the world to be clean but you can't stop people from littering. It should not be a law against it.

Litter Bugs------there is a law in most states---------- I often wonder what their yards look like, I am a smoker, not a litter
bug, not all smokers toss their butts on the ground.

Can't stand people like that. Smokers think just because the butt is small, that it's no big deal. I'd like to smack the people that say "That's what the trash pickers are here for".

I believe there is a law against littering. I don't feel it's enforced enough. It's hard to catch the culprit, I guess.
