Cheating. That is the one thing I would have a hard time forgiving her for; although since she's out on the road five days of the week, I do understand that accidents can happen. (We've already discussed that but nothing has happened, mind). She's already said the same for me.

Yes, definately cheating. Even though I am a straight female and am married, it isn't the point that we are married but the point that we had made the commitment to be with only eachother, to love and respect eachother unconditionally. With that breach of trust I would have a very hard time forgiving him or even trusting him.

I cannot conceive of an action for which I would have to forgive my late beloved Gwenneth. I might have wished that she had not hidden her cancer and let me go overseas on a long desired holiday but that would be selfishness on my part. She had the most generous spirit of all the people I have known.

You know, I would have to agree with all here who have listed cheating as the big no no. But I would have to add that lying is the worst thing I can think of. Lying for any reason is almost unforgivable. I can not trust someone who is willing to lie to me.

Boozey/stoned, slutty behavior ... get help or get out!
It tends to bring on
cheating
lying
being secretive
inappropriate behavior (the " Watch me, I'll get back at you " kind of flirting with others)
confusion
misunderstandings with unjustified anger
etc., etc.
Sooooooooo not pretty! I will not tolerate the lushy whores or the druggies! This will never be something negotiable for me. I make a lot of reference to this in many, many of my posts because I feel so strongly about it.
mandarinsdream makes some excellent points. See comment above mine.

I think the worst behaviour is not being content until you tell your spouse about some discretion or other. What the eye don´t see the heart don´t grieve about.

lying. If I caught my partner in a lie then I would know that (s)he may already have cheated on me and I just dont know about it. Anyone in a relationship with me knows that honesty is most important to me, they get it from me and I expect it in return.
