If you really don't want it,, tell her you don't want your private life on a web page.
But please don't say it's stupid, maybe she wants to be exposed, ask her if she would like a web page about herself our maybe the two of you together.
Add the kids , post services you can do for others, list items you want sold, maybe help a friend find a job by posting on your web page.
Think of the positive and negative reasons of having something like that,,, are you able to control what is said or just your wife?
You don't want her to air dirty laundry on it if your not kept updated.

You could say something like: Hun, i don't really want my own website. I really wouldnt be able to do anything with it.
Maybe you could tell her what you really want, i'm sure she would rather have you be honest than have you have a gift you didnt like. Also tell her that you love the thought of her wanting to give you something special, but you don't really need a website.

i agree it's a pretty dumb gift, but...
what do you do when your grandma gives you socks? act surprised, be grateful she got you anything at all, and move on. use it a few times and then just let it go.
but if she's asking you ahead of time if you would like it, be honest but tactful. tell her something like "it does seem like a neat idea, but I don't know that i'd use it that much... i'd rather have something like______."
she should appreciate the honesty and it's better to diappoint her now than to have a bigger disappointment later when you don't use it.

Well probably NOT be rude and say something like "What kind of stupid gift is that???????" to her face would be best! LOL If she told you that is what she is getting just explain you don't think you'd use it. Obviously she thinks it' something you'd like and is trying to be different, so don't hurt her feelings. Just say there are other things you'd rather have.

I have received a gift that meant much more to my husband than it did to me. knowing how excited he was and how much thought he put into it I lied and told him I loved it. Then I went out and bought myself something that I did want.

Tell her that a website will not benefit you and you don't want that much personal information on the internet. Then give her ideas on what you want for christmas.

Tell her thank you and then let her keep it up to date for you and in fact tell her you want to share it with her so you are both on there together

If you really wouldn't be interested in that as a gift, tell her you don't want it. That is all you can really do. It may hurt her feelings at first, but I am sure she wouldn't want you buying her something she didn't want and wouldn't use.
