I've read the Bible and to be honest it is rubbish. But to the point. It seems evident to me that Jesus spent a lot of time with thieves, vagabonds, whores, sinners, the poor, the non-believers etc.
Now let's pretend the Jesus myth is not actually a myth and is true and he is going to come again
Does it piss Christians off that he will probably want to hang out with us sinners and non-believers rather than hang out with them?

Isn't that a very Christian answer from JM. Ironically he had to provide some sort of answer to make his point.

777 if you want to get on the right side of Jesus then you better drop the pagan symbol of the fish which represents Pisces. I don't think the big J would be happy being associated with the worship of false Gods.

Now it seems we have at least two different versions of the 2nd coming here. Can Christians not get their story right.
mrschickabee7 suggests we will all bow before the Lord when he comes again but others suggest a period of war led by Jesus and the saints and yet others suggest a huge flash and all the non believers are gone.
Which is correct???? I assume none.

And to Fuzzy - evolution and big bang theory are perfect substitutes for religion.
I assume when you say that I should go play with my ape friends that you are insulting what I believe. So in Christianity do as I say and not as I do is acceptable?

That's an interesting point,
I have been wondering for a while now, how do we not know that he hasn't already come back and just been ignored?
I mean, if a guy in the modern world walked around claiming he was Jesus and here to save us all, then i'm pretty sure he'd be put in a mental hospital and laughed at.
Or maybe the opposite will happen, he'll become an uber famous celebrity that the worlds press will ambush 24/7 waiting to witness a miracle. And they'll make up tabloid stories and drive him to drink and drugs with all the pressure.
Im intrigued to find out which way it will go.

But your forgetting all those thieves, vagabonds, whores, sinners, the poor and non- believers were converted, repented and believed in God, proving that it did have a powerful effect on them!
And in the next coming he will come like a thief in the night! No one will know that he is coming, which is why u have to be ready! All u sinners will be left here to face the destruction that is coming!
'You can speak against the son of man and you will be forgiven, but if you speak against the son of God, you shall never be forgiven!'- so to hell it is with u then!!!
What did you do, only read half of the bible, otherwise you would have known all this?
I would advise you to go to church and you'll get a proper indepth insight into what the scriptures mean!
=)

It's great that you read the Bible but if you read even deeper you'll see that yes, Jesus did spend a lot more time with sinners than He did with Christians but that was in order to convert the sinners.Jesus loves us all (sinners included) He just doesn't like the sin. So when He does come back, and trust me, it's not a myth, He's coming back to spend eternity with the Christians forever - the sinners, unfortunately, not so much. If you say evolution is a sub for this, then why don't take blood donations from your monkey ancestors? Are they your long lost cousins? Their blood should be suitable for people who believes evolution.
I don't think you really understand the Bible. Jesus went to sinners to feel what they feel. Only then He can succour sinners like us.
So, you think all Christians aren't sinners??
We are all sinners, but we turn to Christ and you don't.
Thats the difference, you think He will come to you and save you when you didn't even obeyed Him??
Think again..

I read your extra commentary and it is rubbish and begs the question as to why you even ask the primary question.
-------------------------------
Edit: To Penster-x
Your primary question was valid and good. There is no problem with anyone asking such questions. However, when you thereafter tell us how much rubbish the Bible is, what are you even engaging us in a dialogue for?
If ideas are to be exchanged, you cannot expect that your rudeness isn't given its own due! Many people expect Christians to be so sweet and take all the abuse nicely --
However, even Jesus told his opponents 'hypocrites' and 'your father is the Devil' -- he told people the straight truth about these subject as he saw them.
I try not to use profanity -- but frankly rebutting of such disrespectful comment as yours is not unchristian in my mind.
The concept of atheism and evolution is as much 'rubbish' to me as you find the Bible to be.
Recently, physicists discovered a universal constant that had been 'finetuned' to 120 decimal places. This caused great chagrin to these physicists because the only solution seen at first was that God indeed was the creator of our universe.
How did these eminent brains of our highest educational facilities solve this problem -- through faith, of all things.
They invented the multiverse, a thing that can neither be proved to exist but can only be postulated in unsupported faith. At least Christians have faith that is supported by facts.
The only thing the multiverse permits is the dismissal of the need for a God. And then you guys look down at us for our faith. Funny!

First time he came:
Matthew 9:13
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Second Time:
Matthew 10:15
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Matthew 12:36
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

All the christians who are here now will be Raptured out, and those who are saved after that raptured will have to endure the tribulation. When Jesus comes at his second coming it will be to battle evil, along with the saints on a horse.

You have totally missed the point!
If you are a doctor you have to hang around the sick and the injured to help them.
Jesus hang around those that needed his help so he could help and to ask them to follow him to a better existance.
At his second coming he is coming for the Christians not the sinners,They will stay here with Satan for the tribulation.

Well if it happens to your version of reading it ... No I would not be upset. That's who Jesus spent the majority of His time with when He came the first time. I have all eternity to spend with Him... I would actually hope that I would be right with Him ministering to the broken hearted and the lost. I already have accepted His love, they have not... My focus would and should be the same as His.

Quite contrary, I think by your theory, that if Jesus spends his time with thieves, whores, sinners...etc, then he will be spending a lot of time with christians too.
