Although first imppressions are really memorable and strong, its not the end of the world if you mess one up. I have friends that I could not stand when I first met.

I've heard that a first impression is actually made in the first 8 seconds of seeing a person, traditionally before they even speak. I think first impressions do count a lot and I can remember quite a few of mine...

It`s not like the end of the world. The first impression it`s not only based on looks, it is based on how you treat people and how you show yourself. However based on the looks, "there is never a second chance for a first good impression."

for me it's more important rather than memorable because memories will fade but how a set people started off is the way they are most likely to go.

No, the first impression you judge a person BUT once you get to know a perosn, your opinion can completely changed.

I do that thing the women are credited with, where I decide in a nanosecond (not consciously) whether a person I meet is 'bed material,' It may not be fair, but that's just how I am. Of course, many pass this test! :-)

Then again, very many do not...
