There is no evidence that universe is even 50 years old but i will take 5600 as conclusion because I trust Bible.

People all think differently. If we were all the same then the world would be a boring even more messed up place. Even so there is Scientific proof of the Universe existing for a longer period of time through methods such as carbon dating. There is no exact time the Universe has been around. Questions like these are so complex and we will all have our own opinion, just like relativity, it is all relative to us. Simple solutions to complex problems is the cheap way out. Period.

Don't be stupid. Carbon dating has dated the carcasses of many dinosaurs that are WELL over 5600 years old. You trust a book that a group of people may have put together to scare people into living a life of moral fear. Carbon dating is fact. Books are not reliable fact.
From a good little christian girl perspective, you could argue that the time differences may account for that. God built the universe in 7 days. However, God is eternal, so who knows how long one of his days is compared to ours. There is no telling that one day of his isn't 6 million days of ours.

Maybe some people have a problem with a simple statement
"And evening & morning were the first day, 2nd day,3rd day
etc. So when they go to sleep at night they think 500 years
go past & then a morning is another 500 years so gee a 1000
years have gone past so the earth has to be sooooo old.

About the universe thing, have you even looked at a textbook recently? Obviously not or you wouldn't make such a stupid statement. Its called science...try looking into it some time

5600 years old! Good grief. There are ancient monuments standing that are near in age or older than that (Newgrange, Stonehenge etc),let alone the remains of creatures like dinosaurs. Unless you believe carbon dating is the work of the devil, meant to deceive (although tree ring dating can be demonstrably proved.)

It is not the universe that is 6-8,000 years old, but MAN.
The universe and the earth ARE billions of years old.Dinosaur bones prove that. It is MAN who has a limited history. Created for the earth...by Almighty God Jehovah
(EXODUS 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.
If dinosaur bones can survive for so long, then mens bones should also survive...but none have been found fossilised like the dinosaur bones. And noe have been found WITH dinosaur bones.
Because we were not around then.

Not just some people but the majority of people. There is a very small minority of extremists Christians that think as you do and they are almost exclusively American!!! The vast majority of Christians do not agree with your interpretation!!!
That is your right but please - try and be a little more christian and realize that if God exists he loved sinners too!!
Questions like this are actually just ego stuffing!!!!
