why do people (christians mainly) have trouble believing in such things as the:
mokele mbembe
sasquatch
sea serpents
chupacabras, etc
they have trouble believing in these, but are standfast in their belief of god when theres just the same amount of evidence (if not more) for these creatures?

AND NO ONE SAY THE BIBLE
the bibe was written 2000 years ago by who the hell knows.
people didnt see any of the things that hapened in the bible, they read about them
people have actually seen these creatures

I just have a few questions about your upbringing. Who taught you about non-Christians going to hell and how much did they stress that belief? Was it everyday they would tell you or you just heard it every time you went to church? How frequently were you taught about non-Christians going to hell?

Christians (and other religions/ideologies) have tried execution, imprisonment, hospitalization, castration, medication, banishment, etc., all to no avail.

Since homosexuality has shown itself to have more staying power than any religion, what reasonable actions should Christians take in response to gay men & lesbians in society?

How many Catholics out there believe the story of Fatima? It happened less than 100 years ago. Over 40,00o people (atheists, scientists, non believers, Catholics, other Christians) were there to witness it. Do you believe the oldest girl Lucia's story of what Mary said to her? One of the things was that God was upset with the world and all the sin. Take a look at the world today, most people do not even acknowledge sin. Need to repent people. It ain't make believe.

I had a friend who stole $40 from me. I got angry, and said something like "I'll F around and get hardcore, C4 to your door no beef no more knucka!!" He thought this to be the worstest insult, but I was just mad and said it. Is it that bad? How would you interpret this?

Someone suggested that I wasn't a real Christian...

Is that not the HEIGHT OF JUDGMENT?

I was a born-again spirit-filled praying, reading the Bible, loving my precious Jesus, Christian for over ten adult years....

Can you imagine that I changed my mind? and without the lure of sin? I simply began to ask the tough questions. Eventually, I realized - just as I realized as a child (hopefully) that Santa Claus really wasn't real....

The same happened with Jesus.

There's absolutely no solid reason to believe this stuff. It is all patently ridiculous, when one learns to become objective and shake off the shackles of religious brainwashing.

Being a Christian is the ONLY way to avoid Hell. If you believe in God, but you REFUSE to believe in the correct VERSION of God with NO scientific evidence, it doesn't matter how good of a person you are, you will be tortured in Hell FOREVER when you die along with mass murderers and rapists.

God does not want you to go to Hell. He loves you. He is all-powerful, he can see into the future, and wise.

He is not that big of a fan of scientific evidence though. Why? We don't know. It.... bugs him or something.

He wants you to believe in the correct VERSION of God. How do we know which religion is true? Through scientific evidence? NO. We know through FEELINGS in our heart. That is the BEST way to establish truth and this has been scientifically proven because 33 PERCENT of the WORLD's population is Christian.

Convert to Christianity. When God created you, he knew for a FACT that you would die without becoming a Christian, and thus burn in Hell FOREVER.

Okay, if you pray and they are healed, it is a miracle. If you pray and they die, it is God’s will. So, why pray at all if your prayer is not going to have any effect on the outcome? If God is going to perform a miracle, he is going to perform a miracle. If he is going to let them die, he is going to let them die. Or, do you think God may be planning to let someone die, but since someone made a kind prayer, he decides to perform a miracle?

Did you elope?
As for me, my Dad passed away before my wedding. He had been the Minister who married my brother and he married my sister and her husband as well. Obviously, they had church weddings.

I chose not to have a church wedding and I invited only ten people. I simply did not want anything similar to my siblings as it would have surely, made me sad and wishing it were my Dad officiating my wedding! It was suppose to be a joyful day and so, I eliminated everything traditional!

Simple wedding, at my uncle's home who officiated my wedding....He was my Dad's favorite brother!

I am just curious because I was taught that not taking care of your body and also gluttony is a sin. Overweight people are putting themselves at risk of heart attack, high blood pressure, and diabetes. You can ask for forgiveness, however you will still be sinning until you put yourself into a healthier situation by losing weight.

An office of 4 people with most of the time only the two of us actually in the office. She just started. She wears tops that show a lot of breast, no nipple but you can't help but look at her breast.
