Psalm 22.12 "surrounded by bulls" ignored - if the bulls were just bull why accept the other verses as truth ? What is the difference between the verses that makes one so believable and the other a lie ?

The bible mentions that they are the offspring of women and angels, described as giants and men of might and great renown. The answer i usually get it that they all died in the flood but i am also told that Goliath is one.

Jesus said "by their fruit you will know them". Buddhism seems to be the only major faith without a history of religious persecution, bigotry, and hate. Buddhists have a peaceful aura about them and a respect for others' feelings that one would expect from adherants to the teachings of Christ but one fails to find. Am I correct? If so, why is this so?

The Empire State Building in New York will be lit up green to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid.

New York's tallest building already celebrates Christmas, the Jewish festival of Hannukah and St Patrick's Day by changing the colour scheme of its three tiers of night-time lights.

However, it is the first time that the 1,454ft building's management has marked a Muslim celebration in a city on which the legacy of the Sept 11 attacks still weighs heavily.
Eid al-Fitr, the festival of fast-breaking, marks the end of Ramadan and lasts from Friday until Sunday.

The building's management said in a statement: "This is the first time that the Empire State Building will be illuminated for Eid, and the lighting will become an annual event in the same tradition of the yearly lightings for Christmas and Hannukah."

An estimated seven million Muslims live in the United States.

if god knows ahead of time what we will do (he has to exist outside of time if he created time...therefore he already knows if out great great great great great grandchildren are going to be good people or not) do we really have free will.

god knows how i die...and when...and where. do i really have free will if god knows exactly how everything goes?

if we have no free will, as i contend....you have to kind of feel sorry for evil tyrants...what choice did they have?

Do they think they are better than Mary, the mother of Jesus ?

Most Christians say they are guaranteed heaven through faith in Jesus but then express doubt whether the mother of Jesus will make it !!!

The time keeping of the old days wasn't as, shall we say, precise as it is today. They messed up the calander time and again, and lost a little over 6 years, by best estimates. The year 2000 (Millenium, oh no!) actually happened in what we considered 1994. It passed with pretty much nothing World Ending (few terrorist attacks, which admitadly DID suck, but nothing majorly bad) happpening. The "End Times" people have latched onto 2012 as the next time "it's all going to end, no for real this time", based on a Mayan calander prediction.

Sorry guys, what ancient civilizations would have considered 2012 happend a little over a year ago.

So...When's the next "for real this time" End Times gonna be?

I have been really wanted to know why...Not cause they're more beautiful and all that mess...I want to know the real reason because Ive seen american women that are up to par with brazilians (as in attitude, good personality, looks, up keep, etc.) but i would like to know the real reason this is...Are guys more intimidated by american women? Or just curious about brazilians?????

so, god put forbidden fruit in the garden of eden....and since god is all knowing, he knew adam and eve would mess up and go get that fruit. why doesn't god take more blame? why, when something good happens is it god and when something bad happens it is the sins of man? god created all of this and he created the sins of man....whose fault is all this messed up crap anyway? i'm pointing a finger at you god!
