My husband and I started a Church. We felt led by the Lord to do so. Any advice for growing attendance and getting people to come to a small service?

First thing keep praying, and God will answer. The second thing, try to have community functions, try and find out about all free public access TV stations to market your church. Again market your church. MARKET, MARKET, MARKET. Get a fancy business card or flier that is a real eye catcher, and hand them out at gas stations, grocery stores, etc. get their attention first, and let God use you to do the rest. Last and certainly not least, never be afraid to ask for help, some churches are willing to build a fellowship with you and that is some of the best marketing you can ever get.

Matt - do no longer throw the toddler out with the bathwater. I left the charismatics because of the compromise, confusion and normally inflicting "the way of actuality to be evil spoken of" (2 Peter 2:a million-2). Do as I did and get with a church like the only god set up the place all have gained His Spirit (no longer basically like the RCC) and the place the presents and ministries are utilized in an orderly way, as specific in a million Corinthians 14.

Share with the people you come in contact with that you have Bible studies. Put a little ad in the local paper inviting people.

Pray.

Above all, teach the whole Word. Don't cherrypick.

If it's in God's will, preach what He told you to preach, and He will provide the increase.

Look to His word.
