When I fetched the parking ticket from the machine today I walked back to what I thought was our car, held the ticket out and said. " Which end shall we start then?" Only to be faced with a complete stranger staring at me as if I was mad, I'd walked to the car parked next to ours by mistake!
Goodness knows what the man thought, I was only meaning should we go to the right end of the town or the left first!
Of course Mr D had to tell the man, he was welcome to take me up on my offer! lmao x

So...I have bible studies, and I have quit smoking and am changing my life around and I am so proud of myself...but this is the problem I have:

I met a guy 4 months ago. He is ok with me being a witness oneday. And wants to get married soon.

I ask my study conductor about it. She never gave me an answer. But she doesn't ever want to get married and she doesn't understand.

At the kingdom hall, there are a lot of single women and only one single man. There is no opportunity to meet someone there.

So is it okay to marry this guy I love since he is ok with me being a witness oneday?

The following ad was placed on a craigslist wanted section in my town:

Hi! I'm holding an experiment. One that tests the goodness and generosity of humankind. I am asking anyone who reads this to unconditionally give me a dollar or more, if you're so inclined. I will gladly come to you to collect. That's it. You see, I'm in the red and must defeat my bills in order to provide a more comfortable lifestyle and environment for my family. Don't get me wrong, I'm no effortless bum or public leech. I'm a hard working warehouse man with many creative ideas but unfortunately am also living paycheck by paycheck, week by week. I'm trying many things to overcome this financial burden. One being, faithfully reaching out to my fellow man and putting your souls to the test. Plus, one never knows until one asks or tries. So here it goes. Thank you for your consideration. Take care and be well!

Why is it that people think they are entitled to get something for nothing?

in the bible jesus says:
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."
from what i know about the size of camels, they are rather large mammals. and from what i know about the eyes of needles, they are very small. an ant probably couldn't pass through the eye of a needle let alone a full grown camel. this must mean that it is impossible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. but how can this be? the bible tells us that it doesn't matter if we're rich or poor, sinner or saint, all we have to do is accept jesus as our savior and we will be saved. is this not a contradiction? what does the bible have against rich people? what if you're rich, but you're doing something beneficial to society with your money? is it still easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle?

This is the new 'highlight' of the day for the morons at 2:30 when the blasting normally occurs. These jackas ses set their calendar reminders so they can all get up and look out the window… Then they all give the 'ohhhhh & ahhhhhh' as if they are watching the World's Fair firework finale after the blast takes place..

Even worse, they talk about it all day & they get upset I don't watch and ask me - "Why are you not going to watch the blasting?"..

Anyone have a nasty, wicked, witty response?

Guess which Sayings are by Jesus and Muhammed.
Hint: 2 each.
1) Riches are not from an abundance of wordly goods, but from a contented mind.
2)You cannot serve God and Money.
3) If a blind person is leading a blind person, both will end up in a ditch.
4) Look to those inferior to yourselves, so that you may not hold God's benefits in contempt.

To many, God's name is simply "God.” To Muslims his name is "Allah," which is simply the Arabic word for "God." Some will call God "Elohim." Some Christians call Him "Jehovah" or "Yahweh or some Christians prefer to use "The Father.”

But, while reading the Bible it states in Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:"

That verse really threw me off a bit.

Just curious as how to properly address the name (God). I guess it depends on your religion? Yes?

Is that not sort of redundant? Why not just end the prayer in the name of Jesus and then say Amen?

when God created heaven he also created a team of angles, among these was an angle named lusifer, (now known as satin, the devil....) lusifer not only rebelled against God but he also convinced 1/3 of the angles to follow him, convincing 1/3 of the angles in heaven to turn against God must of took some time right? its not like he stood up one day and said im going to rebell against God, so why would God allow this to happen? free will of course, so does this mean we will get free will when we get to heaven???
