When you've been in a horrible disfiguring accident. Other than that, why would you want to change your face? Or if it's your body, just exercise. I have a bump in my nose, and I don't really like the dimple in my chin. But I have high cheekbones and pretty eyes, and if I changed anything about my face I wouldn't look like me anymore. I love myself as a total package :-)
Don't read beauty magazines - they only make you feel ugly.

Well, I would never try to stop anyone from doing it. If they have them time and the money, they can do whatever they want. I had a breast reduction a year ago, and while that is a type of plastic surgery, I did it for medical reasons. I'm only 24 and already I had terrible back aches and neck aches. I have a very physical job (biologist who works with animals) and you just can't chase down a monkey with your boobs bouncing all over the place. A G cup just did not suit the life style I needed. So, my insurance company paid for it, and I'm 1,000 times happier. I not only feel better physically, but it's also helped my self esteem a lot.
I would not suggest anyone under 18 have plastic surgery, especially if it has to do with breasts. My breasts didn't stop growing until I was 20, so you never know. Seems like most girls want bigger breasts... not me though:)

I'm not a fan of the cosmetic crap. Most of the women who have had it done look very fake and scary--their faces look plastic. It's like they don't know when to stop.
Plastic surgery is acceptable after an accident or for fixing defects. Breast reductions are fine, because they are generally medically necessary. It is admirable anytime a doctor can fix a child!

My personal belief is that if it corrective surgery (after mastectomies, accidents, etc.) it is okay. Surgeries for the sake of being admired by others is dangerous simply because a lot of physicians are clueless as to what the dangers are in doing certain procedures until years later. Remember the use of silicone for breast implants? It was a perfect surgery until the bags holding the silicone deteriorated over time and caused leakages into the body cavities of these women, killing, deforming and scarring them for life.

i'm not into plastic surgery, have nothing against it. Natural is the best. Be satisfied with what you have got.
Plastic surgery can be expensive and yet it could go wrong.
It is also addicting, you see people on TV who is did alot but yet still not satisfy.....
if you must, age wise at least 21 and older.
Plastic surgery is acceptable if someone have accident that mess up their face or something major..........

Whenever you decide it to. Whenever there is an imperfection of your body that you personally want changed. You can hae a procedure at any age if you have enough money. Society may consider something like breast implants unethical unless you are totally flat, which would be considered admirable and acceptable if you got implants.
It depends which kind of surgery you want to undergo. If you consider yourself unnatractive, go ahead and do it. If you are just a teenager looking for a boyfriend and want breast implants, it's your decision but I don't reccommend it.
If your heart is set to undergo surgery, follow it. Looks should be all about what you want. I wish you luck.

I really don't have a problem with plastic surgery. I can see someone that really needs it getting it done. Say for instance, someone got into a terrible accident and it messed their appearance up. Then plastic surgery, in my opinion would be acceptable. Or someone who has breast cancer and has to undergo a mastectomy, I could see that person getting plastic surgery to get another breast to look and feel better about themselves. But someone going to just get a boob or nose job just because they're filthy rich and just want it done is just ridiculous to me.

I'm not a big fan of plastic surgery. But in my opinion it is okay if needed to correct a defect that is psychologically debilitating, also to hinder the process of aging but not to try to reverse it.

Plastic surgery is okay to re-construct something that is disfigured. You should not get plastic surgery just to look better. There should be a medical need.
