Is that not sort of redundant? Why not just end the prayer in the name of Jesus and then say Amen?

I think it is because you are praying to God, who is the Holy Trinity. You say in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to indicate that all three are God. You pray to God, and you pray in those three names. I am assuming you are Catholic, by the way.

I say prayers "in Jesus' name", because Jesus is God and paid the price of sins. The Holy Spirit is God that believers (people who are saved) receive. Basically, we should pray to the Father, in Jesus' name. Realize that the Holy Spirit can intercede for us, too. All three work together in harmony. Hope that helps!

No because the holy spirit is kind of magic baking powder which enables the cake father and son to take volume and credibility - because it's hard to think that somebody is not a human as anybody else - so the holy Spirit is there to justify the holy trinity and explain how Jesus was somebody coming down from Heaven - otherwise... evident no ???

Genghis cited the verse Matthew 28:19-20:

But I think that he is mistaken, I think that it was a forgery to insert all three, I am a muslim, I dont believe in trinity, So I dont believe that Jesus(pbuh) said that, and to strenghten my theory, the early disciples never baptised in the name of the father, son, and the holy ghost, they only baptised in the name of Jesus(pbuh), so it wouldnt make sense for the early disciples to disobey Jesus(pbuh), right? So that is the reason, it could be a forgery.

God has no interest in technicalities. God doesn't care how you end your prayer, only religion does.
