when God created heaven he also created a team of angles, among these was an angle named lusifer, (now known as satin, the devil....) lusifer not only rebelled against God but he also convinced 1/3 of the angles to follow him, convincing 1/3 of the angles in heaven to turn against God must of took some time right? its not like he stood up one day and said im going to rebell against God, so why would God allow this to happen? free will of course, so does this mean we will get free will when we get to heaven???

Kait had a good answer, but since we are made in Gods image, I do believe that we will have "free will" in Heaven. However we will be free of original sin, "washed in the blood of the lamb" with incorruptible bodys. Without sin, we will be free to worship and serve the Lord, and enjoy our reward!

Actually there are a few problems with your question.
1. you are assuming that God didn't create Lucifer / Satan / Iblis with the express purpose of having him rebel.
2. The bible mentions very few angels so 1/3 could have been like 5
3. The bible never says you go to heaven the actual word that is used in the original text was either Sheol or Gianna, which mean the grave or the (literally) burning trash heap .

see the Jews at the time believed that all men and women went to the same place when they died ... Sheol which is a gloomy place where all people went.Unless they were unfit for the eventual resurrection then they went to Gianna and their souls were destroyed all together

but to answer your question: do we have free will in the final life as described in the bible... no

see Adam and eve would have probably lived for ever in the garden of Eden if they hadn't encountered evil. so if you define free will as the ability to choose between good and evil... and in heaven or the new earth or whatever evil no longer exists it is hard to see how we would have this thing called free will.

Yes, there is free will in Heaven. What you mentioned about Lucifer’s expulsion from Heaven together with the other angels who sided with her is stated in Revelation 12:7-9, to wit:
7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

In Heaven, Lucifer was called Luz Belle. Luz means light and Belle means “a popular and beautiful or attractive woman” whose “charm and beauty make her a favorite.” (Webster’s Dictionary).

According to the Holy Spirit we talk to, Luz Belle was one of the archangels in Heaven and the only woman archangel.

Lucifer presents herself as light, hence “luz”. The “fer” in Lucifer may mean earth or iron of the earth. Lucifer also presents herself as a man although she was a woman. Satan is really a liar. The Holy Spirit told us that the saying “The Devil is a woman” is true.

Revelation 20:2 reaffirms who the dragon is: “And he (an angel) laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.”

That is why God is very selective in those He will accept in His kingdom in Heaven. This earth is just like a sieve, a strainer, to test how faithful we are to the true God.

The Bible describes Heaven in great detail in Revelation chapters 21-22. Nowhere in those chapters is the possibility of sin mentioned. There will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4). The sinful are not in Heaven, but the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). Nothing impure will ever enter Heaven (Revelation 21:27). Outside of Heaven are those who sin (Revelation 22:15). So, the answer is no, there will be no sin in Heaven.

What does that mean for us? If there is no possibility of sin, does that means we will no longer have a free will in Heaven? It seems that in Heaven, or ability to choose will be similar to that of the angels. The angels had a one-time choice to obey God or follow Satan. There is no possibility of further angels sinning and joining Satan in his rebellion. The holy angels are "elect angels" (1 Timothy 5:21). Similar, the elect in Heaven will be "sealed" in their decision to forsake sin and trust in Christ. We will not even have the choice to sin. At the same time, having been delivered from sin and evil, and viewing the wonderful glories of Heaven, we would not choose sin even if we had the choice.

Hm. Why do you presume God helps suffering? Do you, as a be sure, enable your toddlers to get harm, as in, supply way and dermis a knee? Or go through the outcomes whilst they do something incorrect? unfastened will has to do with possibilities and jointly as some suffering comes from making the incorrect possibilities (whether they appear as if the final ones), it extremely is not the only reason for the human condition. Freedom to pick does no longer unavoidably mean the alternative is between good and undesirable. it particularly isn't any greater desirable than which direction to maintain on with... and which will consequence in even though comes of it. an impressive variety of those questions, by utilising their nature, place guy-made barriers on the subject rely. regrettably, that has been going plenty longer than the cyber web has been around. yet to be honest, extremely some synthetic teachings additionally place synthetic barriers around a topic rely... i think it has to, for guy to comprehend the coaching.

You are asking a "mortal's" question when the "mortal" (soul) has become "immortal" (saved).

I believe that whatever we think about today won't matter a "hoot" when we are in heaven.

The only thing that will have any semblance of need is to enjoy being in the presence of God, nothing more, nothing less.

Being in that exalted state, we won't be able to make mistakes, we won't have needs, we are without SIN, therefore whatever we do will be pleasing to God. All emotions are no longer a way to hinder us, not even knowing that former unbelievers are in HELL because we won't have a need to want revenge.
etc., etc., etc.

Well, God and I were talking about that very thing the other day. He was adamant about everyone retaining their free will. He was pacing the clouds and talking about rights and all of that crap. It was all pretty boring if you ask me. Anyway, I asked him if he trusted his angles, and he said,
"It's spelled angels dammit, and yes I trust them!"
"Yes sir," I said. Gees hold the temper tantrums will you?
Well, the I asked him if he was afraid something like what happened last time would happen again, you know like with satin."
"Satin?" he said.
"yeah, you know Lusifer."
"It's Satan, and Lucifer, you jackas$! Didn't they teach you to spell down there?"
"Look I'm sorry God!" I said. "It was a typo you know? I mean everybody knows how to spell. Gees, lay off the red bull."
So, yes there will be free will. God wants all of our earthly pleasure to remain, without the pains.

Well, if you believe the bible we sure don't have free will NOW. You can't say that God sees our future and 'has a plan' AND say that we have free will, because those two things are mutually exclusive. We EITHER have free will and God DOESN'T know what's going to happen, or He DOES know and therefore we DON'T have free will because it's already pre-determined. You just can't have it both ways regardless of how much you want to.

P.S. It's 'Lucifer', and 'Satan' not 'Lusifer' and 'Satin'.

lucifer is a latin word meaning Morning Star that slipped through to the english King james version.

We do not have total free will, it is limited by the will of the Almighty God. He uses our mistakes as a part of His plan. Those who don't believe this cannot say God is ruler of all things.
