Fact 1. Faith and truth exist independently of each other.

Fact 2. The truth exists first and remains unchanged regardless of your faith or "good feelings".

Fact 3. People get "good feelings" from heroin, crack and murder.

Fact 4. 33% of the world's population are christian because those very same people believe in Christ, funnily enough.

Fact 5. Some of that 33% are responsible for some of the most evil acts including paedophilia and genocide. Most completely ignore the things they don't like in Jesus's teachings.

Fact 6. It's best to leave the fur on a cat when barbecueing. Just gut it and stuff with chopped onions, Rosemary (the herb, not Aunt Rosemary!) and garlic, wrap it in foil and leave to fester for 30 minutes. When the eyes pop, it's ready.

Some people like to leave the cat alive for that roasty caberet routine which I think is totally unnecessary and interferes with conversation what with all that screeching! Lilly round the corner swears by live cooking and the whole cat boogie thing but she's just plain cruel.

Faith is the best way to establish truth.
Faith is the best way to establish truth.
Fai...............

Erm... it sounds much better MY way...

Truth is the best way to establish faith.

I dont believe blindly. I was there. In church. As a kid. I listened. And prayed. I BEGGED to be saved. The preacher said ask. I asked. I pleaded. I begged. And every sunday kids and grown ups would get up when called to testify and their faces would just frickin' glow.

From an early age I tried to believe... but it never came. I never "got" the sign. I never "felt" the spirit come into me. By the time I was 13 and every kid I went to school with had been saved (except for me) I went to my pastor. He said I must be holding back!!

WTF?? I was doing it WRONG?? "Explain!!" I cried.

He couldnt explain. He could only say I would know it when it happened. It would come suddenly... it would hit me... like a lightening bolt.

That day NEVER came. And I concluded that all those other people that I watched (for years) going down the aisle to testify their saving were deluded.. or lying. Who wants to be left out??? Who wants to be different?? Of COURSE they're going say "Im SAVED! Im SAVED!" and accept the hugs and shoulder pats and head rubbings and all the good wishes and the givens that go along with it.

I dont care if 33% of the world's population is sheep.

As for me and mine, we dwell in reality.

33 percent of the world's population is Christian thanks to an extremely well funded and aggressive missionary branch...

It also means that 67% of the world is not Christian.

Faith is not enough to establish truth. No matter how much I believe 2+2 = 1,000,000, I'll still only have 4 bucks if I work for $2/hr for 2 hours.

*** kn36 pp. 3-4 The New Millennium—What Does the Future Hold for You? ***

Millions have faith in these Bible promises and have thus gained an optimistic, positive view of the future. As a result, they are better able to cope with life’s pressures and problems. How can the Bible become a guiding force in your life?

Knowledge That Leads to Life!

Science and technology can sometimes be dazzling! Still, human knowledge has not made life secure and happy for most people. The only knowledge that can accomplish this is described in the Bible at John 17:3, which says: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”

Such knowledge is found within the pages of the Bible. Although many express strong opinions regarding that sacred book, few have ever examined it for themselves. What about you? Granted, reading the Bible takes considerable effort. But it is worth it. The Bible is the only book that is “inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness.”—2 Timothy 3:16.

Truth isn't truth simply because we believe it is (even us Christians.) Truth is truth because of who Jesus Christ is. If you say you have to have faith in something for it to be true, then you're saying there isn't any absolute truth, it's just what everyone believes. The life, death, resurrection, and deity of Jesus Christ is the truth, whether 67% percent of the world's population believe it or not.

Good feelings in your heart is completely subjective and doesnt validate anything.

Now using your statistics, how do you explain the FACT that 67% of the world's population is not Christian?

romans let you worship Jesus but
a times new roman font LORD'S GODDESS existed well before Jesus. And the name that comes from both is TODD, and He will grow up to be a Man. So guess i should change My name from Larry to lari? since changing names is legal in this country, it is the basis of my decisions at times.

c h rist i a n
who is h? G+0+d=h
n=I4 and 4=IIII thus n translated equals I4=I IIII

Faith is the refusal to search for truth. Refusing to search for truth is not the best way to establish truth.

"Loving of enemies is another dogma of feigned morality, and has beside no meaning....Those who preach the doctrine of loving their enemies are in general the greatest prosecutors, and they act consistently by so doing; for the doctrine is hypocritical, and it is natural that hypocrisy should act the reverse of what it preaches." – Thomas Paine

"The Bible was established altogether by the sword, and that in the worst use of it -- not to terrify but to extirpate." --- Thomas Paine

"What is it the Bible teaches us? -- rape, cruelty, and murder." – Thomas Paine

Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the Word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind."
-Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason, 1794

Christianity cannot live in peace with any other form of faith. -- Robert Ingersoll
