Traditionally Angels have wings. In my thoughts yes they maintain them to be able to keep flying. It depends on the type of Angel. There are, I think, different levels of Angels.

It didn't take them long to learn to fly after God sneaked up on them and pushed them off their comfortable clouds! And the only maintenance their wings need is the occasion dust bath followed by a quick ruffle and preen!

Sky daddy pushed them out of the nest when the time came, and they either flew or crashed. Those who crashed became demons and devils.

As to maintenance, a little WD40 on the joints every millenium or so is all it takes.
