I saw an article in a woman's magazine a couple months ago explaining how much cleavage is too much and for when. It also covered length of skirts.
Unfortunately, it is up to our generation to tell the younger one what is acceptable and what is not.
Try to find a fashion magazine that has an article in it like the one I described above, and leave it on a table in the waiting area or a common area where she would see it.
If that doesn't work, post a 'dress code' up on the bulletin board, in order to look 'professional for our clients'. That last phrase will take the focus off the office itself and leave her believing that the whole office has a level of professionalism to present to its clients and the public.
Hope this helps.

Is it your place to say anything? Whatever you say could be construde as sexual harassment. Go to your boss and talk to him about the situation and let him/her know it's distracting.
The attire may not be appropriate for the work envirnment and the company needs to say something.
If you are the boss you may want to make sure someone from your HR department is in the meeting with her when you tell her to cover your butt and it will be official. You can have HR come by for a day or two and check out her attire.
Chances are it's innocent and she simply enjoys showing off her figure and attributes but at work it's not a good thing to do.

I am 24 years old too, and honestly, the greatest thing anyone ever did for me was when I started my first job an older woman whom I really respected sat me down to talk about my wardrobe for work. I had just graduated college, and most of my wardrobe was either too casual or inappropriate as well.
With that said, I think that if you or a woman in the company that you believe this girl respects sat down with her and talked about her wardrobe that she may respond positively or she will explain that she is building a working wardrobe. As a twenty-something in the work place I can tell you truthfully that I appreciate honesty from my superiors.

I work in a professional office as well and we have a younger girl that works here and dressed like that as well. In an office setting you have a right to require a certain dress code. Whta you do is send a interoffice memo to everyone and do not address any certain person. In the memo state what is exceptable and what is not and maybe she will get the hint.
Good luck

It's just you two most of the time and she just started wearing clothes like that so I think she's doing it for you. You did notice.
My aunt worked with a girl that showed way too much cleavage and there was a group picture of everyone that worked there and my aunt stuck a piece of paper over the picture where her cleavage is and the girl was very angry when she saw it.
I think it's definitely inappropriate for her to dress like but it's rude to tell someone they're showing too much.

You should install a disco ball over her desk and play dance music when she walks in the door to work. She might get the hint that she's dressing for a night out and not for a day office. Some women show everything they have because it's the only way they can attract men. They otherwise don't have the intelligence or personality to attract them. Pretty sad, really.

whoever the boss is should have this discussiona nd let them know their is a certain dress code that requires her to be covered up, no cleavage, no thongs hanging out tha back of her pants. im 23 and i would not be dressing like that, i work for a very corporate company we are required to wear suits every day so i dont think it is a young thing. more like a slutty thing. theres a time and a place to dress provacatively, like a club not an office.

Maybe you could send out a company email with the 'dress code' on it. If not, then go to human resource and ask the person in charge to give her a copy of the company policy on attire.
If there isn't any written policy that specifies that is appropriate office wear, then just write one up yourself using company letterhead. Who is gonna know?? lol

This poor girl doesn't know how to dress, or she is oblivious as to how to dress in office attire.
If you are the boss, tell her that she needs to cover up more in the office so that she is not a distraction to others.
If you are not the boss, tell the boss!!! Tell the boss that this girl is letting everything hang out but her breakfast!!!
Good luck and God bless you.

You can but it may be safer to have a person of authority take action. It depends on the exact situation. Young girls have this thing for attention and someone has told her she looks good. Not realizing that there is a time and place for everything.
