Someone told me that because I do not do recreational drugs on a regular basis (well in fact, I haven't done any at all for the past 2 to 3 years now), I therefore cannot consider myself to be open-minded about drug-use.
Personally though, I believe everyone has a right to do drugs if they want to, and I do not normally judge people who do it because of the occasion (at a party) but I do not like people who do it on a regular basis in order to stay "sane" or "happy", especially if they have kids.
Am I thus considered to be not open-minded about using drugs???

I inadvertantly left my Cardinal, Quartz pocketwatch in the watchpocket of my denim jeans, when I did my laundry. When I took the wet clothes from the washer, I saw the watch at the bottom of the tub. It had stopped. I removed the back and placed the watch on the widow sill, in the sun, to dry. The next day it was running again.
Three days later my fine timepiece stopped once more, so I replaced the battery. Nothing happened. I laid it on my desk with the cover open, displaying it's face. I intended to take it in for repairs.
Four days later, I had still done nothing, but lo and behold, the watch had restarted.
It's a miracle, I tell you. Just as certainly as anything else could be a miracle, this was one.

My question is, have any of you ever witnessed a real miracle? Tell us about it.

A devout Atheist.

I’d have to say that I dont believe in atheists.

to follow atheism to its logical conclusion leads to either, self refutation and no longer being an atheist, or to nihilism, which is more problematic than trying to be an atheist, quite obviously. it is also impossible to completely obliterate recognition in a higher power. show me any civilization or people group in all of history and the world who was truly atheistic. mankind NEEDS a higher power to cope with life. and they cannot find one then they will make one up.

People who have problems with Christianity usually have problems with Christians. not Christianity in its TRUE intended form. they usually read a few lame books and a few scriptures and think they “found the discrepencies” in the bible. without really knowing what they are talking about they discredit the whole shabang and claim intellectual superiority over Christianity. but then the bible says that they wont understand. the spirit grants understanding

I believe no one will go to Hell because Hell is a story made up to scare people. I think the belief in Hell caused all of the corruption and violence of Christianity in the medieval ages.

Why should good people go to Hell because they don't believe in God. Atheists have morals to.

Matthew 25:35

The Final Judgement

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

I hope some do not find me too pedantic, at least I admit to being a tad pedantic at times, but I wish to raise another issue of grammar.

I ask why people capitalise the "p" in pagan and the "h" in heathen. They are not proper nouns so ought not to be capitalised unless at the beginning of a sentence, I wonder do people know this and still choose to do or are some unaware of this? Some incorrectly think that paganism and/or heathenry (or sometimes heathenism) are religions so may explain why they do so. However they are common/abstract nouns so grammatically speaking should not have the first letter capitalised. Although I class myself as more a heathen than a pagan I see no reason to capitalise the first letters, I only do so for the name of my religion, as people do for Wicca as it is a proper noun.

Why do you think people do this?
