That's what I told those Californian kids who spoke to me about my relationship with god and basically repeated Pascal's Wager. Shouldn't they believe in Odin?

That would be Illogical and Impossible, reason being is that they contradict each other.
If all religions are different paths to the same place, then why do the paths contradict each other? Does truth contradict itself? Let's review the teachings of just three religions:
Buddhism is pantheistic and says there is no personal God and everyone can reach "godlikeness" on his own. Islam says that Jesus was just a prophet, and not the only way to God. Christianity says that there is a personal God, and that the only way to Him is through Jesus (John 14:6). If these three religions are, as you say, different paths to the same place, then why do they contradict each other? Does truth contradict itself?

Ah! No! I prefer the Atheist's Wager
You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he may judge you on your merits coupled with your commitments, and not just on whether or not you believed in him.

Or we could believe all gods are part of one God, like all people are part of one humanity, speaking different languages, dressing differently, and thinking differently. Then we can deal with the truth that we have no real idea what God is or how God works.

Other than my life, not much.
Between going to church, sitting in the synagogue & the Mosque, venerating my ancenstors Kami, offing sacrifices to Quetzocoatal and training hard to be a good warrior so I can sit in the halls of Valhalla I really won't have much time to be me.

Lots, think of it this way, if you are making pascal's wager, then you should choose the path that the odds say leads most likely to success.
Christianity has the longest success rate with the largest amount of lifelong participants.

Some are actually trying this...ironic considering the self-contradictory nature of it, given that most gods claim they are the one true god and you'll get burned if you believe in others. But, hey, religion doesn't have to make sense, you just gotta believe!

Good grief. No. If there was a god don't you think he would know you are only believing to avoid hell? Not to mention, how do you know if you pick the 'right' god?

Because the true God may be jealous of all the others. So take your chances and pick the most likely one.
