India.It is horrible.One or two pages are full of obituries.They are published free,as news item if it is without photo.You have to pay if photograph is to be added.Rich people publish separately .

Most people in Australia put an announcement of the death in the newspaper with details of the funeral. Some undertakers do it as part of the service.

I live in the US, too. Believe it or not, they have obits on the radio in the city where I live! I've never heard of that anywhere else.
