......the creation of the universe?!?

I've heard your theories of those wacky electrons, the thin blue gas, those unexplained gravitional pulls, etc. - all of which pre-suppose something has been here forever with no origin.

I've even heard that the universe itself has been here forever with no origin.

And finally - I've heard that just because you can't explain it doesn't mean you have to accept that GOD created it!

None of these answers make any sense - and of course, we all know how you guys love LOGIC and REASON.....

....so would one of you please explain creation to me without GOD?!?

She never hurt anyone, she was so friendly and loving and always said the nicest things

So why would anybody want to report her and get her account deleted, that is so unfair?

In this question, a christian informed others that he ate their god.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuwmVc5dmzb7JvuKyXqFg20jzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20071004213105AAnAw5C

I answered that question, and told him basically the same thing about his god; I received a violation notice.

Do you think I deserved it? Do you think he did? (you know what to do, right?)

Since it seems to me the question is exactly as right or wrong as the answer, I reported it, but of course it's still there today.

In conclusion: under what circumstances is it OK to tell other people you ate their god?

Exodus 22:18 states, "Suffer not a Witch to live." What does that mean to you as a Christian, or those of other religions?

Because to me as aWiccan it means that Christians should kill Witchs. What say you Christians?

Supposedly I have a "bubbly" personality. And I make people laugh. And I don't care what people think about me. Something about my eyes, too...and the way I do my makeup.

I guess my real question is -
How can I make it stop without changing a whole lot?

I know it's weird, but I don't want a bunch of girls hitting on me or liking me all of the time, even though I'm a lesbian. I just want to be with my girlfriend.

Can you help me?

Because fear is the most productive tool these mind control cults have to win over and keep followers.
Source(s):
Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race.
If you can't get someone to convert willingly through preaching, fear is the next best tool.

Christianity for instance is based on two principles:

1. If you believe, you will be rewarded with the prospect of an eternity in Heaven when you die.

2. If you don't believe, you will be rewarded with the prospect of an eternity in Hell when you die.

For Christians:

God is all-loving, all-wise and all-merciful, so long as you submit to becoming a slave - salivating and singing heaps of praises on him for all eternity.

Much like an Earthly dictator who rules his subjects under rule of tyranny - submit or suffer.
Two methods in which religion spreads

1)Violence
2)Child Indoctrination

No, stupid answers please. This is important to me. I do not care where a college degree can take you, I do not care if I have millions of dollars. I really think my life mission was to be a mom. Whenever I think about it I feel sublimly happy like if there is this warm glow around me telling me yes this feels right.

"let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law, and if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for woman to speak in the church."
1 Corinthians 14:34-35

Guess the Bible takes away the freedom of expression from women, huh?

I work really close to a girl who thinks her dad is an idiot, and answers him back and argues with him. She is 25. I now find myself getting frustrated with her and her attitude. I sometimes now snap back at her. This is not even my style. I been working closely with her 3 months. What should I do? (I can't find another job, she is my business partner)

"Without a personal Creator-God, how are you anything other than the coincidental, purposeless miscarriage of nature, spinning round and round on a lonely planet in the blackness of space for just a little while before you and all memory of your futile, pointless, meaningless life finally blinks out forever in the endless darkness?" asked by 777 (why won't she just crash, boeings aren't that reliable)

So basically we need someone up there caring about us, wanting us to feel loved (by threatening us with never-ending torture) and that we have a purpose - to kiss butt forever and ever amen.

Don't all these arguments amount to - I can't handle a universe that isn't like this - so I refuse to! If you don't like it - refuse to accept its reality. Won't that solve everything?

Do people answering these questions REALLY care about the person asking them or do they care more about getting the "Best Answer" kudos (points)? Some seem to be sincere, others seem to be competing. If someone can actually give an honest answer (in my opinion), they will get the kudos. Sheesh! Did I just say that??

I think goths are attractive, but when I get close to them I just stare and walk away. I like the way they dress. They are so cool to me. They look at me and continue walking, what should I do? Should I ask what they like doing or should I stay out of their business?
