I think goths are attractive, but when I get close to them I just stare and walk away. I like the way they dress. They are so cool to me. They look at me and continue walking, what should I do? Should I ask what they like doing or should I stay out of their business?

Go t a local rock club and just hang out with random people I'm a goth and that's what I do cos we're all really friendly and as long as your nice to them they will gladly hang out with you.

Oh, if you just stare they'll think you're doing it to be rude. You should go ahead and say hello. Do you have classes with any? Do you see a few around often enough to have a common interest? You don't have to talk about being goth. You could talk about anything you'd bring up with a new acquaintance.
I once went to visit a friend in another city where there was a good goth club, and I wanted to go. The outfit I had brought with me for this was a purple corset with black lace overlay and Indian skirt. She thought it was lovely, and wanted to own such an ensemble, but was both too afraid to wear it, and too afraid to go to the club, having heard that they'd know she was a tourist. That's just silly. Well, tourists ARE obvious, but that doesn't mean everyone will be rude! Just try to be a good and respectful person and people will be good and respectful right back.

They are people just like anyone else.
Treat them like you would treat anyone you wanted to strike up a conversation with.
They won't bite.

If you trytoo hard to "fit in" then you will just look silly. Maybe listen to some of the music that they listen to first, and then you will get into their mindset....
