The recpetionist where I work likes to call me Carmen, my real name is Rachel and he knows that. He likes to call me Carmen as a nickname to Rachel what the heck!!! I've not been able to kindly tell him that is not my name you know my real name so stop it. If I were to tell him that he would continue calling me Carmen because he knows it bothers the hell out of me. How should I take care of this situation.

If the Bible god is (according to Xtians) a "god of love", why wouldn't he encourage you to question authority and see for yourselves?

Why did he put Abraham's faith to the test instead of suggesting that he did some scientific research to find some proof of god's existence?

I mean, wasn't God's voice enough proof of his existence? Why did he have to be so MEAN?

I have been thanking Jesus all day today, He answered our prayers, I am having another baby, I already have identical twin daughters, Ruth and Rachael, 6 months old and they are a joy.

I took pictures last night of the Mansfield Reformatory in Ohio for the haunted house.

It's supposed to be haunted so I took pics to see what I could find, and in every picture there is something weird: Gray clouds, multiple orbs, etc.

Now I'm confused because in every picture there are lines, resembling power lines but there were NO power lines or anything like that around. What do they mean in terms of Ghosts or spirits and the like?

Matthew 24:14 - "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

The Message (Version)

Matthew 24:14 - "...the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come."




Since the end hasn't come yet, Jesus could not have just been talking about the initial spread of Christianity worldwide.

Please explain...

Anthesteria -- This is the Festival of Flowers, as well as a feast of the dead, and a drinking festival centered around Dionysos Limnaios ("of the marshes").
