Call him to the side and politely say "Look my name is Rachel and that's what I want to be called. Please do not call me Carmen because I will not respond to Carmen. Do I make myself clear?" If that doesn't work you may have to have a talk with your supervisor. Good luck. 2D

Every time he calls you Carmen, just say 'My name is Rachel' like you're telling him for the first time. If he's calling to you from across the room, just don't respond to him at all when he calls you Carmen. He's being rude (and knows it), so it's hard to come up with a polite response. You could stick on a paper name tag one day and tell him it's because 'he has so much trouble remembering names'. If he says he wants to call you Carmen as a nickname, just say "Call me by my name or not at all." Try not to show it annoys you, just firmly and calmly correct him with 'Rachel' everytime he calls you 'Carmen'. Good luck. Unfortunately annoying co-workers will be with us always.☺

I'd be nice, but right up front with them. Tell them politely, "My name is Rachel, not Carmen, and I'd prefer if you'd use my correct name." Then, next time they call you Carmen, do not respond to them. When they do get your attention, explain once again that Carmen is not your name, and you thought they were talking to someone else.

.. wow.. how did it go from.. Rachel to Carmen..
I think hes nuts or hes just firilting with u...
You have been telling him kindly... Girl! seriously if its bothering you, tell him "not" kindly cuz if u dont its only get annoying. If he starts to get really annoying, and doesnt listen... take it to the boss. Or, get look for another job and quit... if he ends up following you... somthings not right. ..
Or you can ask him head first.. do u, like me or somthing im guessing you know wat to do from there.

you are too sweet honey - when someone is intentionally misusing your name you don't really HAVE to be kindly back.
Say to him, "My name is Rachel if you don't want to call me Rachel you may call me Ms. (your last name) but I would appreciate it a great deal if you would stop referring to me as Carmen, That name has some terrible memories associated with it that I would rather not go into now."

Just tell him politely that you wish to be called by your correct name. If he does not, then do not answer him when he calls you Carmen, he will soon get the point.

stop responding to carmen. even if it gets to the point that he is right next to you and saying carmen i am talking to you, just ignore him until he says your real name. act like its no big deal and eventually he'll get the hint.

If he does that to you and it bugs you. Call him by a different name that you feel like calling him lol, maybe he'll stop calling you Carmen because he doesn't like the name you gave him. I don't know what his name is but call him some name from the list:
Chuck, Harlan, Vern, Arnold, Ernest, Patton, Euless, Bert, Ernie
Make the name unattractive like listed above and call him that. Hopefully, this strategy will make him stop and start calling you Rachel.
Hope this helps

How did he get "Carmen" from Rachel??
I suggest simply telling him that you prefer to be called by your real name. There's nothing wrong with that. I go by my middle name so I'm constantly correcting people when they call me by my first one.
If he persists, talk to the boss. Good luck!

God did not tell Moses his call. He in basic terms stated "i'm that i'm" -probably he meant that because of the fact the unique, commonly happening, eternal being, he does not want a acceptance. there is in basic terms one in all him, so no call required! by the type, Moses would desire to not have been a Muslim (as claimed by skill of a later poster) because of the fact he died approximately 1500 years formerly Mohammed grew to become into born. as nicely, Moses grew to become right into a Hebrew, so it incredibly is possibly that "Musa" and "Moses" are the two approximate translations of his call. Moses in no way knew God as "Allah".
