My husband and I run an electronics warehouse and one of our employees can't afford to go on vacation, so we are paying for a weekend away for their family.

It feels good to be able to help someone, especially when they get the job done for you and you can show them how much you appreciate them.

Good Day!!

Cleaned a friends house a few times while she was sick. Given money to total strangers. Finish paying for someones things at the grocery store and also have done so at department stores as well. Fix up thankgiving boxes of food and took to other childrens homes that go to school with my children that are less fortunate than mine. Bought christmas gifts and given them to parents to give to their children so the children wouldn't know that their parents couldn't afford it. Helped the homeless. I've cooked meals and taken groceries to someone who needs it. And I live on a tight budget myself. But there is alot of people that have it worse than we do. We don't have much but what we do we are plenty willing to share. People should show love and care more than just at christmas time although alot doesn't. Best wishes.

Lent a friend $400.00 to pay his rent when he lost his job. At first it felt great to help, until it came to me that he was never going to pay me back, then I just felt like the sucker I am. I helped a friend pack her abusive boyfriends crap and take it to a friend of his house, I was scared to death since he's a bit unstable, but I felt great because she really needed to get away from him and I was helping her find strength that she didn't know she had.

I often carry a plate of food to a neighbor who is sick or alone or unable to cook for themselves. The blessing I get for having done something for someone who is less fortunate than I is far greater than what I have done for them.
Jesus told us that if we do something good for someone, we have done it for Him. That's all I need to know!
