I'm not much of a shopper, but I succumbed to an ad for professionally fitted lingerie and spent $72 for a new bra. It's the first time I've ever been fitted for one, and I found that for the past 25 years, I've been wearing the wrong size. The new one was so comfortable! I went to a department store and bought four more (cheaper models, don't you know!).

An occasional kahlua is an indulgence, too. I'm doing more of the driving, so I can't have a drink when we eat out, but sometimes I'll have one in the evening after we kick off our shoes.

I bought a dress that apparently had a small Jesus-dying-on-the-cross metal object that looped onto a pin. As an a atheist I have no use for it so I took it off. I would wear it if I had one of those anti red cross out things over it. But I don't know where to find one of those...

They are constantly knocking on the door for stuff: sugar, eggs, butter, beer. We have told them no a couple of times but they dont seem to get the hint. We dont want to be rude either since we have to live next to them.

I once heard that the catholic version Bible didn'thave the 10 commandments like all the other Bibles as far as the second commandment which is "thou shall not worship idols or any craven images of wood, stone,etc..." but something about 'keeping celebrations blessed'. It would make sense since they pray to saints and Mary instead of directly to Jesus all the time, but I'm not here to make judgment, Only God can (and will) do that. I just want to know as faras refference-wise
(Altho I have a feeling this will inevitably spark controversy)

I wrote this in my blog last night, and felt like asking if anyone else felt similarly here.

We see that terrorism is done in hopes of becoming a "martyr" and getting rewarded in Paradise. But I see damage done in the name of the Christian Heaven that I grew up on, too. I teared up and hoped for his sake the pastor was right.

I notice that I do not get many TRUE CHRISTIAN responses. I think this board is FULL OF ATHEISTS and I think some of these SO-CALLED CHRISTIANS are really nothing more than ATHEISTS IN DISGUISE!

I think the ATHEISTS come here and pose as CHRISTIANS because they get LAUGHS out of it.

It is a scholarly look at the Book of Abraham and its origins, as well as the means by which it was produced. The video is 56:31 long.

I figure it will take me an hour and a half (roughly) to thoroughly read the entire Book of Abraham with sincerity, making sure not to skim over any passages, since they may be important.

If I am willing to do this and pray about it to find out if it is true, would you be willing to watch this video and think about it with a logical mind to find out if it is true?

This guy earlier asked how God could let his child die of cancer. Well i gave my answer, which was cold but honest.

All he could do was complain and be angry, while understandable, doesn't help anything.

I wasn't answering as a christian, rather as a fellow human being... but he could only spout anger.

I told him he should stop being angry and do something good with his life, and honor his childs memory by volunteering to help other children with cancer, disease, or disability.

He could only respond with anger and call me a b-i-t-c-h. I then told him it was a good thing that his child didn't get to see what kind of horrible person his father became...

So who is right... whether a believer or non-believer.
