IF there was a zombie outbreak what would you do, say it happened right now as you sat at your computer (home, office, whatever) either one comes crashing through the window or you hear the Emergency Brodcast Network, once your shock is over what do you do?

the definition("blind belief") is false and mainly used by atheist to try and justify the idea that they dont have and dont use faith.

By the Biblical definition:Hebrews11:6-Faith is the substance of things hoped for,and the evidence of things not yet seen.

Everybody would technically fit into the first half of that definition;becuase even atheist are hoping for something. The only difference being theist hope and believe for God,while atheist hope and believe for God not to be real.So everybody technically fit in that definition of faith.
Where thiest and atheist part ways is the second half "and the evidence of things not yet seen.".This would apply to people with faith, since we are willing to trust God for something though we havnt yet seen it;while atheist refuse to believe and accept without scientific physical proof;which is where the error is made in understandng faith.

So everybody does have faith(first half of Heb 11:6);difference is where we put or dont put that faith

Does the fact that so many ancient Levantine cultures have a legend regarding a worldwide flood give credence to the Noah’s Ark story?

(Yes, for the astute among you, I am trying a different vein….)

I'm torn.
I've always believed in God in a karmic way. You do good, God rewards you. You do bad, you will face consequences. Then there's the testing of your faith, entire subject on it's own.
I have faith in God, not people. I believe in God & I know that he works through people but I also know that evil comes through people as well and it is easier for people to do bad. I trust in God to guide me and give me the wisdom to identify between the two.
What is concerning me now is that I believe that if you are going to follow the word of the lord you can't pick and choose what you will believe but follow faithfully and entirely (1 Cor14:37-38) but the bible was written by man inspired by God (Key word: INSPIRED)(Man is known to err) in a time when our society's views were much different than now (One example:1 Corinthians14:34-35). Parts of the bible have been removed. They were unsuitable?
"Even the devil can recite the Bible to get his way". I can't follow blindly. HELP PLEASE?!?!

May I ask a few questions if you don't mind

1) Be honest we are women and perhaps the most jealous of the two genders. Do you often get jealous and wish the other wife or the other two or three would vanish?
2) If you were the first wife did your husband tell you that he was seeking another woman and ask for your view and opinon. If not how did that make you feel? If you agreed to it, why did you?
3) And finally one for the men who have more than one wife. I know it is Islamically permissible, but why have you chosen to remarry? Do you not think of the emotional consequences it has on women or do you simply not care.

I know there are loads of questions but I'd really appreciate it if you could answer them all. Jazak-allahu Khaar.

i'm not a christian so i don't understand this. i'm a pagan and i never even thought to look to the gods i believe in [i didn't say worship] to guide me to an answer that i needed. i believe that they are way to busy to worry about me , a tiny nothingness in the abyss.

so why ask a god to guide you to an answer that you have the power to answer yourself

I, personally, like a little hardship in my life. Mostly because it keeps me going. I've got goals and dreams that I want to fulfill, but the sound of eternal bliss and happiness, just doesn't work. We need negative experience, in this life, to progress further. So, why would there be a place of eternal happiness and bliss at the end of this life? That would mean that life is just meant to be a negative experience just so we can have a good experience in the end. Heaven forbid, there be no reason at all for our suffering, and that we do it to ourselves with no God involved.

I hear about these things specifically in the context of "this country wouldn't be where it is without the morals of Christianity." I'd like to know what "Christian-specific" morals are, compared with the morals of other religions. And please, don't spout some BS about another religion if you don't know anything about them.

... to allow Satan to exist. And please, no "we don't know God's greater plan" BS. I have no problems with someone saying that but then I should never have to hear from you about ANYTHING regarding God's plans. If you have an actual opinion on this, please tell me.

I know what God's Word says, and I don't obey it like I should. Even knowing this, I still tell others what the Bible says. I may be a hypocrite, but I still know what is true. I am a hypocrite, but God is still working on me. I won't be perfect until I die.

I think everyone but Christ, when you get right down to it is a hypocrite. So let's put this hypocrisy hang up away and just deal with the fact that none of us are perfect.

Let's forget hypocrisy and focus on our own personal walk with God. We only need to worry about what God thinks- not what others think of us.

I have just come to this realization.

How do you evolutionists explain aliens? Why do they look humanoid? They obviously could not have evolved from humans, but they look similar. This is proof that God used the template he used for humans for other creatures as well when he created them. That proves creationism.

Here's another piece of evidence for Creationism: Did you know that humans and chimpanzees share 97% of DNA? It is obvious that when God was done making chimps, he liked what he had done so he used most of the same DNA patterns to make people.

Let's see your logic argue against that!!!

Would you buy, wear or sell a t-shirt that said that?

Personally, I think it's none of my business except when it's an issue in giving advice. And before you belabor the obvious, it doesn't matter for the purpose of hitting on women for three reasons. First, WHY they say no isn't important, as long as "no" is accepted graciously. Second, my odds have always been marginally better with Lesbians than hetero women. Third, lesbians often enjoy the atttention if it isn't obnoxious and the fact that the stakes are low lends itself to outrageous mutual flirting.

Do I really have a need to know for general purposes?
