Okay so I'm excessively good at reading people. Usually within a few hours of knowing a person I can pick up on the motives of their action without them actually telling me. I tend to know how people are feeling and if something is wrong immediately even if those close to them don't. Sometimes I even feel it with them. Usually this is a helpful skill, alot of my friends are relieved that I already know where they're are coming from but I also tend to take on other peoples problems. And feeling other people's hurt sucks hard. I've been doing this for about two years and haven't been wrong (some other freaky stuff has happened like knowing my phone is going to ring before it does a couple of times). I know I'm probably just good at reading body language or I'm just sappy or whatever. But is it something more? How do I know? What do I about it? Can I hone it? Is it a marketable skill? Any information is helpful!

Why do people keep talking about this? I've read the novel Misery by Stephen King, and haven't found one mention of atheism or atheists. In addition, why is someone trying to talk to characters from a Stephen King novel? Should we get that person some help?

If the catholic church is the true church that Jesus founded. What happens to all the protestants, evangelicals etc etc.
Even the good meaning ones, who love God and "think" that they have the truth.

So if they are genuine what happens to them.

I know that Catholics dont dismiss them to hell and damnation the way that the Evangelicals do to everyone one the planet.

Given that there are a lot of protestants, even some doing good works how does the Church view these people.

Any ideas??

I had to send her a letter expressing my anger about it. She invited practicing witches on the show, and gave the impression at the start that it was important for the public to understand these other religions as they are getting more and more popular. I thought this would be a good thing. It wasn't. She consistently said how "creepy" it all was. How she had to have a spiritual cleansing because of the "evil" on her set. I was outraged. I know Tyra isn't exactly a "journalist" but she does have the power to influence certain kinds of people. She just perpetuated the stereotypes - and I think that is ignorant and irresponsible.

...God decided to send someone down to earth and say something like, i don't know, in September California will be under water?(like a tidal wave or anything like that) Would all the non-believers change their ways if they were told it were to happen before it actually did? Or would they find another excuse? I think it's a question worth thinking about. God bless!

It seems that so many people are "afraid" of voodoo, wicca, and paganism - mostly due to lack of knowledge and stereotypes that are wrongly perpetuated by the media - including a recent Tyra Banks Show. What religion do you fear the most, and why? Be specific as to why. What exactly cause you to fear?

Citing religious texts results in circular logic which is flawed.

Example: The Bible says that God is real and God inspired the Bible.
Example II: The Quran says that god is real and god inspired the Quran.

I am looking for proof of any god.

Please no jargon about how I am an evil atheist, no attacks on evolution or science as I didn't mention evolution or science and please no rambling emotional testimonies about how you felt god as your feelings are not hard proof of anything.

Stating that the complexity of the universe is enough proof is also not proof of anything.

Saying that you have to be filled with the holy spirit to understand also means nothing. I used to be a devout Christian until I realized that I was wasting my life.

Stating that you need faith is also invalid, in the words of nihilist philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche "A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything."

I await your answers, keep it nice please.

Thank you.

In the book of John it talks about how Jesus turned water into "good wine" when even today it takes about a year to make wine after picking the Grapes. If it is possible for Jesus to turn Water to mature good wine instantly couldn't it also be possible that God when he made the earth made a mature one?

Do you think it's possible for there to be someone out there, in the world, who looks exactly like you??

I mean, sometimes I think "even though everyone's different, surely someone HAS to look the same as someone because there's more than 6 billion people in the world and you can't have 6 billion different noses, mouths, eyes, teeth etc".

Imagine if you had someone that looked exactly like you in.... Peru or something [I'm not sure if that counts skin colour].

Hmm...basically, the question I'm asking is:
Do you think this is possible??
