I don't understand why the industry just doesn't pay their servers a decent hourly wage instead of leaving them at the mercy of the patrons pocketbook. Wouldn't this be a better solution?

Almost every Indian person I have met in th US is a racist against black people, is it because our skin complexations are the closest in relation to other racist? Are the mad because they cant treat us like the untouchables in their own country ?

Ok can someone please explain why it says in the bible adam and eve were made by god and lived in the garden of eden, and they made other people and civilization.
Now if all life came from adam and eve does this mean that eve's children had sex with each other etc etc....is this not incest and if this is what happened why is this in the bible as incest is a sin....Im confused!

Is it possible that people can be defined by the way they are born, that all people do not have equal potential. From a religious perspective the rabbi was suggesting that people inherit characteristics from thier parents.

This does not mean that there is no longer a responsibility to treat others in a righteous manner. It is simply a question if we make a mistake in thinking that all people are born with the same spiritual potential. Do animals have the same spiritual essense as humans? most people would say no....so should we assume all people do just because they look and think like us.

I asked why the whole "Ask and ye shall receive" BS didn't apply when I begged God to spare my child from the torture of cancer. He died a year ago. Here's one of the replies I received:

"For all you know God took your child to be with Him in Heaven to spare your child from some misfortune here on earth. Since you're not a Christian it could be that God took your child to Heaven before you hardened their heart against Jesus. When Jesus said "Ask and ye shall receive", He wasn't teaching that God is some on call doctor whom you can ring up on the prayer phone and have Him come and cure any illness that you or another person may be suffering from."

Does this infuriate anyone as much as it does me? How was God "Sparing my child of misfortune" by giving him cancer?

Why do people worship their cell phones?
They talk or text on them in theaters so everyone has to see the light.
They use the walkie talkie feature of their Nextel with the speaker cranked up so the world has to hear their conversation.
People answer or talk on them while someone is trying to take their order.
And lets not forget the all mighty important phone they must make while driving in the car and ignoring the rest of the traffic laws!
If you need to speak to that person so bad, put the phone down and drive to their house.

what would you do? How would you make the best of it? How would you get along or cope with the people you used to refer to " as crack heads" or "trash" or "poor people on welfare" or "minorities"? Forgive me if you are not guilty of the above but I tire of people trashing places like South Phoenix. Without giving a goofy answer, how would you deal with being ripped out of your warm zone and put in an area that is labeled as bad? There is addicts and criminals no matter where you go, but South Phoenix always takes the bad rap. There are a lot of dealers in S.P. but the dopers come from good neighborhoods to buy drugs too. You never hear about the good hard working people who are doing their best to raise their families and have a good life. Not only do they fight to keep their kids in school and to graduate, they have to fight off violence too.

why is everything fun a sin? why can't i just be a crappy person? yeah i have hateful thoughts about 80% of the time but i like it. and it's not like i go out killing people and stealing from people or do i go out hurting people just for the fun of it. so what makes me so bad?

yeah i may drink, and i'm a pagan, and the reason i'm not christian is because i don't believe that a god would send you to hell for not choosing a certian religion or lack of over the other.
